The hotel has an excellent location, is very clean, and the staff are very helpful. It offers a garage; the rooms are a bit small but otherwise very nice.

Pros- clean room, friendly staff, excellent breakfast . Cons- rooms are only cleaned on request.

Hotel was in walking distance to the sights. Staff was helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. The only issue was with the parking where we had problems trying to get to the entrance due to all the road works and Googlemap kept trying to take us to a no right turn/ bus route. Unfortunately the staff were not knowledgeable to advise the best way to access it. We eventually ignored Googlemap and turned into the road before it.

A great hotel in a fabulous city

Absolutely great experience

Room and breakfast were great! The location is nice and not too loud in regards to street noise. We could hear the rowdy neighbors in the hall all night and a random person knocked on our door at 4am looking for their friend while very inebriated. There was a festival the weekend we were there and it seems a lot of festival goers were in the hotel. That’s a very isolated occurrence and may not happen to you but who knows.

I stayed for three nights as a solo traveler in a Standard Twin Room. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet at night. Breakfast started at 6:30 am and offered a good range of options. The hotel’s location in the town centre made getting around easy, with a shopping mall, restaurants, and cafés just a short walk away. It takes about 35 minutes to walk to the campus of NTNU, and the route is very straightforward.

Nice hotel in great location. The room was clean and very comfortable, and service at the front desk was excellent. We were quite surprised at the breakfast options. Will most definitely stay there again if we have the privilege of returning to Trøndheim.

Great location for walking. But finding parking was a problem since we had a camper van that did not fit into garage.

The staff at reception at all the different shifts were outstanding. Both my husband and I were impressed with their friendliness but also their kindness shown. Of course, the room was like any other” good” hotel room and apart from the tricky issue of making sure the seal of the 2 partitions of the shower was tight otherwise, water leaks out all over the floor, it was a very pleasant stay. The buffet really is exceptional as the variety was huge. There was a lovely waitress who was kind enough to give me her time and patience and teach me the pronunciation of Norwegian. This is such a lovely hotel to stay in in Trondheim. Also it is located close to all the important tourist sites and close to Skansen station which means a train trip to and from the airport is only about 1 hour and costs only 45 kr pp.

The hotel breakfast was the best! The only thing we did not like was that there was a lot of noise from people outside up until about midnight. Also, there was machine noise for hours in the early morning on Saturday (3:00 am onwards) that looked like washing of the many bus stops just outside the hotel.
