All was good. The only complaint is that the shower curtain stank.

The staff was very helpful.

This hotel was close to restaurants and parks of Ottawa.

I had a medical emergency at hme before checkin and will need surgery which is scheduled for August. Regrets and hoping we can rebook next year.

The Room was very clean, cleaners did a great job and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The air-conditioning is in the room and very noisy that is the only downside.

Hotel restaurant over-priced given the number of eateries in the area

Everything was perfect except had an issue with booking through Hotels.com. I booked a room with king bed and a pull out sofa for three people. When I got to the hotel, we got a room with only a king bed. Lucky a suite was available, if not it would be horrible. And though I indicated 3 people at the time of booking, I was charged extra for a third person. Hotel is very conveniently located in the Byward Market area. 10 minute walk to the Parliament. 5 minute walk to Rideau Centre. Parking is limited at the hotel and you have to pay for overnight parking.

Very comfortable stay

I was a retired hotelier and believe some older model of air conditioning should be replaced because the noise disturbs the comfort and sleep of the client. Breakfasts arrangement is outstanding and cost effective for walk in customers; however for tour group perhaps the hotel should consider including bread/toast (I heard quite a few from tour group asking why there was no bread/toast). Staff in general are very nice and helpful. Moisturizer in the tube (in the washroom) should be checked to make sure it wasn’t dry and hard to squeeze out.

I loved the location. It’s so close to a shopping area and many attractions are within walking distance. The staff is friendly. The only thing is the first floor is right next to the street and it can be noisy The first floor set up is a little awkward. You have to climb a few steps from the lobby to get to the room with no elevators.
