We picked the least expensive room and it was nicely decorated but very small. Shower pressure is rubbish. The staff are friendly and helpful, lovely location. Complimentary breakfast is a nice touch but stale pastries

Second time staying at the Sonder and once again, really impressed. A great spot in Chelsea at a very reasonable price in comparison. Staff are always helpful and the room has everything you need.

The hotel and staff - overall - were lovely. 1st room was nice but cleaning could do with a little more scrutiny : for instance the walls were still dirty, smudged with previous tenants toothpaste, and the second room clearly had someone smoking in the room prior to us checking in. Not a pleasant feeling

Awful - massive rip-off for the price. Nasty and unhelpful staff (our room was ready at 3 pm but he said if we entered before 4 pm they would charge us $50, ridiculous at a $450/night hotel) He made us sit and watched the clock before he gave us the keys. Then, the coffee maker was broken, the hook in the bathroom was very obviously broken and should have been fixed and we were kept awake all night by the guest in the room next door snoring — showing how cheap and flimsy the hotel was. Sonder is a RIP OFF - so many better hotels around London and Chelsea for the price.

We had to pay 35 pounds for earlier check in at 1:30 pm. Then at 3 pm, a fire alarm went off which interrupted our sleep. Room facilities were poor, which had only one small chair and desk. They don’t provide any cleaning at all. You have to ask for towels and toilet papers. No tissue box.

We arrived at 3 pm and were told our room was ready, but that if we wanted to enter before 4 pm, we would have to pay an additional “early” check in fee of $30. Ridiculous. The man at the check in made us sit there for 1 hour watching the clock before he “allowed” to enter our room at 4 pm. 3 pm is hardly “early” check in and plus the room was ready - absolutely no effort was made to be accommodating, instead just to extort us for $30.

Everyone booking this hotel should be aware that they do not service the rooms during your stay. It is small, basic and ends up dirty if you stay longer than a night.

The staff are not interested and look like they don’t want to be there. The door lock system is absolutely stupid. The room was clean and the bed was very nice. Breakfast was basic and no one could work out the coffee machine it was too complicated.

The location close to Chelsea Common, and an easy (and beautiful) walk to South Kensington, is just amazing. And the relatively low cost to stay, I'd say, was very compelling for the area. The simple breakfast was high quality and well done. The rooms were simple, bare but had what you needed, and most importantly, very well priced. Highly recommended.

I stayed for three nights and the room was not serviced once. I asked for fresh towels and they never arrived. Breakfast is poor. The area is quiet, perhaps a bit far to tube stops but great to get a real taste of Chelsea and the Kings Road.

Very nice room great staff. I needed a safety mat for a very slippery shower none provided. No instructions on how to use the oven in the kitchenette. Otherwise perfect for our stay and would return.

As I mentioned on another stay there, I think the floor in the rooms I stayed in (during my stays there) need a bit of TLC. They look old and dingy and well-worn, are getting grey, so it give the impression the room is not clean… Also it would be nice to get some tissues or cottons in the bathroom. This time around there was no cream in the bathroom either. Those are little things that goes a long way… We had a big room with sitting room and the bed is extremely confortable, the sofa bed is lumpy (we did not use the bed part of it). But the location is excellent, the staff very nice, the breakfast pretty good.

We were staying at the Chelsea Green for practical reasons as it was close to the hospital, so we used it as a base really. For the price, I was disappointed. The room was looking a bit tired. The floor was worn, the bathroom floor tiles chipped, the chair a bit rickety. There was limited daylight in the room. There was nowhere to sit in the room, other than on the bed. Breakfast was continental style and a little limited in offering. The breakfast room is fairly small and was often full at peak times. The reception desk was often unmanned. I wouldn’t choose to stay again.
