The hotel appears to have been recently renovated, and the rooms are modern, clean, and well maintained. The location is excellent and within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and the waterfront. However, my overall experience was mixed. The staff were polite but not particularly proactive. Important information was not provided unless I specifically asked for it, which made the stay less convenient than expected. The room itself had a few design issues. Surprisingly, there were no towel hooks or bars in the bathroom, making it inconvenient to hang towels. The air conditioning was also very noisy, which affected the quality of sleep. Parking was another disappointment. At over CAD $50 per night, it is already quite expensive, and guests with electric vehicles must pay an additional fee to charge them. I also paid extra for a city-view room with a balcony. Unfortunately, the balcony overlooked the hotel's pool and gym rather than offering the city view I had expected, which was disappointing considering the additional cost. Overall, the hotel has a great location and attractive, updated facilities, but there are several areas where the guest experience could be improved. With more attentive service, better room functionality, and clearer room descriptions, it would offer much better value.

Great clean hotel after good quality renovations. great staff, very helpful . Beds so comfy,nice wood floors in the room. Would definitely stay again,very good locations close to everything.

We ( a couple) stayed for 5 nights in July 2026. The hotel is better suited for individual shorter term stays. We had a pantry access king room with harbour view. The pantry access was absolutely worth it. The room had some downsides - there was insufficient room to have suitcases open, and no drawer space to unpack. One drawer in the entire room. There was no closet, but a standing wardrobe - unfortunately placed partially in front of the harbour view! There was one little side table that was not practical for using as it had a stylized hoop in the middle of the table. The washroom only had 1 hook for towels, and no place in the shower stall for additional toiletries ( razor, gel etc). There was also no safety bar in the shower stall. One of the 3 elevators was out of service for our entire stay. Signage was poor, we had to phone the front desk to figure out where the pool/fitnessroom/ice machines were located -these were not marked in the elevators at all. The parking was not great, as it shared a facility with a public parking garage. There were no washrooms in the fitness or pool area.

Building and rooms themselves were fine but unfortunately we had lots of other issues. Our room wasn’t ready until 3 hours after our check-in time, we were told we’d get an ocean view room and did not, the tap water tasted super funky, etc. This is an alright stay if you can get a good price on it but certainly nothing special.

The location was perfect, walking distance to the boardwalk. Renovations were great however they may need to check their outlets as the plugs were blocked by the new headboards. I was only able to get a plug into one of the four outlets. Other than that out stay was excellent and staff was very helpful
