The Doubletree in Grand rapids isn't a bad hotel, the problem is it's not a great one either. What it gets right: a clean room, a clean bed, a clean bathroom and basic TV options. What it got wrong: the AC is loud, you're not going to be able to sleep. My room's AC was also leaking, and a wet carpet is a mold concern.The restaurant attached to the hotel is very sub par. The breakfast buffet was mixture of cold, and lukewarm food. And for $15, it was overpriced for the quality of what you received.

The only thing was the pool was down. My kids were very upset. Other than that it was a nice experience

Nice property for a good price

Dirty. Broken. Just bad. I did not feel like this property was safe or secure. Broken elevators. Dirty rooms. Pool was out of order.

Horrible customer service. Booked a double queen with a refrigerator for insulin storage. Given a roon with two full size beds and no refrigerator. I was told they had no other rooms. This after having a reservation for a specific room. Front desk staff had a "too bad for you" attitude. On top of it all, room smells musty, and has stains on the walls and cobwebs in the corners. Will never be back

When we arrived the comforter had candy stuck on it, the phone didn’t work, the pool was closed for maintenance (which I would not have stayed there for that much if I had known it was closed), the shower curtain was all messed up and stained, there was food on the floor when we check in and there was hair all over the shower wall. There was also a shampoo bottle in what I think was supposed to be a hand wash dispenser. It was also very dusty in the room.

The staff at the hotel was great! Even tho the reservation payment was messed up on Hotels.vom end, they fixed it and we had a great stay! Housekeeping was super nice and friendly when we needed something! Would stay here again!

The AC in my room is so loud that it wakes me up every time it start up. I stayed in RM116. The server in the restaurant are nice.

I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. Staff was great. I am disabled so i need to use the hot tub. Found out after checking in the hot tub and pool were broken. Room does not have a microwave or min fridge. Had to ask for a hair dryer.

Property was convenient for the airport.
