We traveled with friends - we had a gorgeous, spacious, light filled corner room with city views although they had a very small queen overlooking a brick wall. We had several small concerns but for the cost of a hotel room these days, things should be absolutely perfect. It wouldn’t take much effort to re-glue peeling wallpaper or add a piece of trim over the gap between the heater+wall. Our friends in the micro queen had a shower head that kept sliding down the pole and “repaired” it themselves with a wine cork and hair bungee. The front desk was notified but must have decided the “fix” was sufficient because nothing was done Oy!
The Copley is in a great location and is a wonderful vintage hotel. Much of the historic character, which we love, has been retained throughout renovations. The elevator is slow but we didn’t mind taking the stairs to our 4th floor room. The restaurant/bar was closed for renovation.
A common complaint - there are NEVER two suitcases holders in rooms that are booked for two people!
