Great location in Back Bay

We traveled with friends - we had a gorgeous, spacious, light filled corner room with city views although they had a very small queen overlooking a brick wall. We had several small concerns but for the cost of a hotel room these days, things should be absolutely perfect. It wouldn’t take much effort to re-glue peeling wallpaper or add a piece of trim over the gap between the heater+wall. Our friends in the micro queen had a shower head that kept sliding down the pole and “repaired” it themselves with a wine cork and hair bungee. The front desk was notified but must have decided the “fix” was sufficient because nothing was done Oy! The Copley is in a great location and is a wonderful vintage hotel. Much of the historic character, which we love, has been retained throughout renovations. The elevator is slow but we didn’t mind taking the stairs to our 4th floor room. The restaurant/bar was closed for renovation. A common complaint - there are NEVER two suitcases holders in rooms that are booked for two people!

Overall-excellent. Staff were extremely courteous, and helpful. Only issue was that just 1 elevator was working- the other one was out of service so had to wait for quite a a while sometimes to get to my 6th floor room. The location was excellent- very walkable to everything (food, convention center, Charles River Esplanade)

This hotel was extremely disappointing except for the Copley Square location. Definitely NOT a 4 star - 3 or 3.5 at best. Stairs in the entrance with no ramp a no one to help with bags, elevator was ridiculously slow, only offer 2 bottles of water regardless of the length of stay, rooms are very small and entire hotel is very dated.

Great location!

It's a vintage hotel in a very modern high power neighborhood. It's quiet and well taken care of, but it doesn't have a restaurant. The bathrooms would benefit from a towel rack. They give you pleanty of clean towels, but there is no were to put them other than to make piles on the back of the toilet.

ADA room on the first floor in the hall with the laundry room. Bathroom leaked all over the floor. Asked to be moved but was not accommodated without being asked to upgrade for $700. Was awakened by the staff coming and going at 530am to the facilities room next door. The room should not be rented to guests, esp for people with disabilities.

The hotel is pretty clean, the staff had no comprehension on how to handle a booking from Expedia, I was overcharged by double and having to dispute it. Overall the room was nice, it’s a very clean old style boutique hotel. Our TV did not work at all and they refused to look at it. So I’d give it 0 stars for amenities especially at the price we paid.

It was a fine room, small and on the first floor. Remarkable I didn’t hear noise from the adjoining club.

Was quickly checked in and welcomed. Car valet was very helpful. Elevators were a little slow. Roowas clean and comfortable.

Nice part of town, just off the beaten track but really close to everything.

It was nice and the people were very attentive and helpful.

Great location! Clean rooms and friendly staff. Room was small, especially the bathroom.

The staff were very accommodating and provided great customer service. Location was excellent, lots of restaurants, shopping , and attractions close by. Only disappointment was a huge difference in photos from the building and room provided.
