It was a beautiful hotel and the staff was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Location was great. We will definitely stay there again.

A traditional hotel within walking distance of the main attractions. The hotel’s staff are excellent, so welcoming and helpful. It’s the staff that really make this hotel a good place to stay. Rooms can be rather small, even the superior rooms. Ours had frosted glass in the window as there was no outlook. But this is central London and even the top hotels often have no outlook from their windows. The rooms are clean and well equipped and offer all you need for your stay. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice of freshly prepared food.

A few blocks from the palace. The doorman was so wonderful and helpful. The afternoon tea was great.

Property is very dated. The wi-fi is so bad a signal is not possible. You are also unable to receive a cellular signal either

Great stay as always at Rubens. Staff very nice and lovely room. Only issue ever seems to be around wifi... Breakfast are first class although on the expensive side.

The property was great, the staff was amazing. The only concern was the hotel wasn’t full yet we were given a room surrounded by construction. For the first three days the only folks we saw on our floor was the one construction guy (very nice and worked quietly) but we could see every room around us was being refurbished except ours which was likely next. Finally saw others on our floor on our last night so it made us feel a little safer. I can’t say enough about the bellmen. They are fantastic and I would definitely stay again, I just would hope they wouldn’t stock us in the middle of the constrained if they weren’t full. Location was amazing!

I liked the people that work there. Extremely friendly, helpful, accommodating. The vicinity to most tourist locations was fabulous.
