For location this hotel can't be beat. If you need it it is nearby.... The price was right in comparison with other places as well. The staff is super friendly and everyone is eager to help. That said there is a reason this is a 3.5 star hotel. So don't expect more than that, and you are fine. Everything is clean and maintained. The kitchens, if you get a suite, are super small, don't expect to cook in them. There was no dish soap provided so that was strange. But there were also only two plates....so not enough settings for everyone anyway.... Nor is there room for a table to eat at. That said, there are lots of places nearby to eat and grab cheap quick bites, so that is fine. Also if you are planning to pack the room to capacity, please note the sq.ft. these are not very large rooms. All that said, cleanliness, friendliness, and functionality matter.... Hence my solid ranking.

Had to stay here for two nights, my friend got me the room, to unwind as my place was being painted. To be honest I really did not want to come here, not really my choice of hotels. But I was pleasantly surprised. This place is actually pretty good, and could run up against the two best hotels in Vancouver easily, at close to 1/3 the price. I was very very impressed. Because I was expecting this place to not be good. The service was phenomenal, the location is second to none obviously, but the quality and cleanliness of the rooms really surprised me. Well done!

This was a nice place to stay. We were there during the FIFA games, and it was right in the middle of everything. BC Place was only a block away. The staff were super friendly and our room was clean. We were on the eighth floor, facing Hamilton. The sirens were pretty loud as some have mentioned in previous reviews, but once they passed, it was fairly quiet. We took a dip in the hot tub, which was very clean, and we sat in the sauna for a bit as well. It was all very relaxing. We would definitely consider staying here again the next time we are in the area.

The best word I can use to describe the rooms at this venue is "adequate". You can sleep, you can bathe, you can rest. But that is about it. It feels like close quarters in many respects. There is no room safe, the tub is quite shallow, and the toilet is the size of a toddler's toilet in preschool. I found myself using the public restroom in the lobby more than the one in the room because of how tiny it is and how low to the floor it is. The cleaning staff were very pleasant although it was surprising that they cleaned everything except the dishes we used. For a room that can accommodate up to six people, there were only two plates, two bowls, and two saucers. The pool was quite clean, although it is definitely not heated. The hot tub was also clean but he jets didn't seem to be functioning when we turned on the timer. The location itself is decent with plenty of amenities within walking distance.

The hotel is a classic design setting furnishings not up to date but well maintained traditional style. Excellent location everything within walking distance you'll find many coffee shops, restaurants, shopping and more! The room was very clean mini suite, nice and large even larger then standard rooms from other hotels, I had a magnificent view facing the NorthEast corner of the hotel. I am planning to return multiple times and will definately plan to here again at this wonderful hotel. I like to also mention the staff were all very professional especially front desk clerk Jash who took extra care accommodating my husband & I for our 6th Wedding Anniversary here in Vancouver. They were all very helpful and polite and quick to address any issues or information at hand. Thank you for making our stay so perfect.
