loved every minute besides one incident in the shower. in the room i stayed in, the bottom right hand corner of the shower there is a bar low to the ground i’m assuming to hang bath rags and whatnot and my two year old who doesn’t have the best balance, grabbed the bar to steady herself and it was loose. the side of the bar that was loose from the wall has a sharp edge and it cut her hand. it wasn’t a dramatic cut, but enough to upset her right before bed. i’d hate for someone’s else’s baby to do the same thing and also get hurt. i called the front desk and let them know and i was told it would be fixed promptly. the water pressure wasn’t the worst but i just wish it was a little stronger. other than that it was an enjoyable experience.

Excellent property

Very helpful staff. clean and military friendly. They have a shuttle that can take you to navy graduation for a small fee round-trip very convenient.

Nice clean place and I felt quieter than most

I stayed at courtyard during my navy graduate ceremony for two days and it was awesome. Very quiet and convenient to everything in walking distance and not too far from base. I will most definitely make this my hotel when visiting again.

One of the softest beds we've slept in at a hotel in a long time and the room was very clean. Definitely am staying there again next time I come to the area.

The room was comfortable. Employees were extremely helpful. I was there for my sailor’s bootcamp graduation and they gave me a packet with all sorts of information on it. Abi at the front desk helped me plan some fun things to do and was super friendly! Great service overall.

We loved how peaceful and caring everyone was!!! The rooms were cozy and spacious. It was super nice that there was an elevator and they had an indoor pool and hotub. Overall we were extremely satisfied.

I had a great stay at Courtyard Chicago Waukegan/Gurnee! The hotel truly delivers on its promise of offering inviting and flexible spaces. The lobby was modern and comfortable—perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. I also appreciated the 24-hour fitness center and indoor pool, which made it easy to stick to my routine. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. My room was clean, quiet, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially liked having The Bistro right on-site—it was super convenient to grab a bite or coffee without having to leave the hotel. The location was also great, close to shops, restaurants, and Six Flags. Whether you're staying for business or leisure, this hotel strikes the right balance between comfort and style. I’d definitely stay here again!

The venue wasn't bad, however, the beds were very uncomfortable. Also, there is a GIANT cement slab attached to the curb where the handicapped spaces are. I wrecked the front of my car. The slab of concrete is not painted yellow or white to alert those driving. I'm a young driver with a mom who is handicapped. Unacceptable. $2600 worth of damage to the front of my car.
