Beautifully located on the Victorian harbor. There was a lovely breakfast in the morning, with a friendly staff.

Location was excellent

The hotel’s location in downtown Victoria was great, and we appreciated the basic breakfast included with our stay. The parking under the hotel was also very convenient. Unfortunately, the room had a bad smell, and the furniture and appliances felt very old. We were also disappointed by a rude staff member who was unfriendly and refused to let us pay for extra parking time.

Good parking and location. Spartan rooms with poorly organized cramped kitchenette. The loft rooms look great online but are impractical - made more iffy by a single couch that had had had better days. Bed was comfy though. While moving luggage from my vehicle to the baggage stand, the porter looked bored and did not move a muscle to help, nor offer to even open the door. Underwhelmed.

Overall we had a nice stay. The photos made the room look a lot nicer to be honest, however the breakfast was delicious. My one complaint is there was construction going on directly in front of the property, completely mitigating the fact that it is a waterfront property. This was not noted when I booked nor was it shown on the website. When I was checking out I was asked if I enjoyed my stay, I said yes just that it would have been helpful to know when booking that there would be construction. There was someone sitting behind the desk who instructed the front desk person I was speaking to, what to say, instead of speaking with me directly, feeding her answers to my questions. I found that quite unprofessional. Overall due to this oversight I don’t think I would re book unfortunately, especially for the prices I paid.

Lovely staff, clean hotel and nice breakfast , which are free. Great underground parking too at reasonable rate. We were offered an upgrade which we accepted but really NOT an upgrade as the bed was in the upstairs loft with washroom downstairs an inconvenience actually and no tv upstairs. Did not realize each room has a kitchen which we did not need.

Huntington is our go to Hotel stay everytime we visit Victoria, BC. And we visit a lot. Loved and appreciated the complimentary upgrade to loft room. Plus the staff is always polite, smiling and accommodating. Also, kudos to the housekeeping and breakfast staff. Their work is amazing and made our stay wonderful! Highly recommend!

I felt very well cared for in this elegant hotel. The room was very well appointed. The breakfast was delicious and the service impeccable. The exterior on the building has some peeling paint and overfull gutters. The interior is beautiful and well maintained.

Staff during breakfast were friendly and very helpful. Our one night stay - the exhaust fan in the bathroom was loud. Overall it was okay. Thank you.

I like the retro look one thing I did notice is where my room was was right across from the custodial staff room and I could hear the door slamming constantly. It’s fairly loud that’s about it. Everything else was excellent.

The staff was attentive and responsive. Breakfast was a full meal and tasted good. Our room was a bit dated but clean. Excellent location, close to everything. We would like to have been warned that there was construction on the harbour front that blocked the view and was noisy during the day. We had paid for a harbour view but were given a room on the opposite side because of the construction.

Room is very outdated and smells. Pictures online are deceiving. Will not stay again or recommend
