I stay on this hotel several times but this time was a lot different and what make me do this review was that was mosquitos inside the room I kill at least 4 in the morning when I wake up I was stung several times in several parts of my body plus in the morning was more mosquitos in top of that the A/C unit was not keeping up with the temperature in the room the room was on the warm side plus humidity When I checking out was not ask how was my staying on nothing just if I pay for my room the was weird

For years I have been staying at Lucerna, nowadays I travel to Mexicali once or twice a month and unless they are sold out, this hotel will always be my only choice. The staff is great and so the bars and restaurants.

Room was not very clean, neighbors were loud, pool was full of loud people, waiters never have change and always ask if you wanna add a tip to your room service even though it is already included.

This place is a gem. The bungalows are charming and the whole place is fabulous. The staff, from manager down, are charming, helpful, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Would absolutely stay here again.

The friendly staff were the only good part of this experience. The pool looked dirty, the rooms were unkept, and our AC broke, forcing a room change at midnight. It was an underwhelming stay for what we paid.

My room had no phone, no way to call reception to ask for service and I was charged twice for a food transaction.

Fantastic amenities!

This Hotel has excellent food. The only thing that I did not like was that I was not informed that the room did not have elevator and had to walk up stairs to get to room with luggage.

Wasn't too impressed. The no Jacuzzi was a deal breaker for me. I didn't see an ice bucket where it should be which is usually by the sink or coffee maker. I called and let them know and requested an ice bucket with ice and was brought ice in a used grocery bag, no bucket. That was kind of unsanitary and gross. Before we left I opened the closet to find the ice bucket inside on the top shelf. If that's where they usually keep it,the front desk should have said something when I called.

Staff members were excellent

Had an amazing time at the hotel. Room was incredible. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Dinner was outstanding. I would highly recommend staying here. I look forward to my next visit!

Great staff

I love staying here at Lucerna. It’s been an amazing hotel for years and years. The staff is always amazing, the rooms are always impecable and the hotel itself is always super clean. The only thing that I did give 3 stars was because the room was not as clean as it usually is, I did see hair on the bed and a nail. The toilet was also not as clean as it usually is but again this has only been one experience from many great ones.
