Room could have been cleaned better

I stayed here over Christmas and loved it so much I rebooked for New Year’s Eve. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made the whole stay feel easy and comfortable. The rooms are decent and cozy, and some are currently being renovated, which is nice to see. Overall, a great experience and I’d happily stay again.

Clean. Nice rooms. Really helpful staff. Kids loved the arcade. Breakfast was good. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Basic but clean and comfortable. Front desk service was fantastic.

Bathroom very small, grouting around the tub cracked, dirty and moldy. Room was getting a little dated. Parking did not seem very secure and the front desk suggested bringing belongings into the room due to the homeless who frequent the area. We have stayed here several times but feel it's time to find a new hotel that's more suitable.

All in all the room and staff were good. The only 2 issues I had were the "paper thin walls" You can hear people talking and their TV at low volume. Also the heater is under the window bit if you want heat you have to open the full length curtains. They need to do something about that.

Hotel was good, arcade room was great for the kids, pub was good for dinner. Stay as far away from the bistro for breakfast. Stale toast, powdered eggs, burnt waffles. Nice staff but the food made us ill
