Great stay

I stay there for two days with my son while attending a concert in the area. I would not recommend this hotel although it plays off like a remodeled Holiday Inn. It definitely is not. It’s an old hotel with a well done facelift. It was not clean. The rooms weren’t clean. Everything in the hotel is actually old and pretty beat up, unfortunately I kind of had a feeling that was going to be but because of the concert most of the stuff was already booked in the area. I would not recommend it that is not good at all especially for the price.

The room and hallways seemed dated and worn. The shower is amazing. That and it was close to food places.

They did not provide shuttle as previously stated. Additional $40 for a taxi from airport which was less expensive than Uber. Management didn’t offer any refund for issues. Although they said they would provide some recompense. Will never stay there again.

Bar in the hotel. Easy access to all attractions. Hershey is about 20 min away. Staff friendly.

The breakfast Saturday morning was not very good. Pancakes were hard, eggs didnt taste right and sausages were rubbery. But then sunday morning the breakfast was amazing.

I booked the king suite. Furst off this is the smallest king size mattress i ever slept in. It was queen. There were moths in the room. The tv remote didnt work. The lamp next to the bed didnt work. I called multiple times to the front desk no answer. Had to walk down then still had issues. The toilet did t flush toilet paper without flushing 2 or more times. Absolute gross

Overall the hotel is nice and staff is friendly and caring. I gave 2 starts because originally we were put in the suit with terrible conditions. I closed my eyes on closet doors didn't close, toilet paper holder was falling off the wall, floor lump was leaning to a side and shaky, other lamps didn't work. But when one of us stood in the water coming out from toilet- I had no choice as ask for another suit. We had to move ourselves to different floor with our already unpacked clothes and things at 12;30 am doing multiple rounds. After long day drive to PA this is not something I was looking forward to do. The second room was much better, without issues. Yes, staff moved us to different room right away, but nothing was offered to compensate. I paid full price for the suite and still had this unfortunate experience.

Friendly stsff

Not sure if this is the place to address this, but we had paid in advance for the room with a charge of $143.19 thinking breakfast was included so we were quite surprised when we found we needed to pay for breakfast. What was even more shocking was that although we had already paid, at checkout we received a receipt that indicated the room charge was $118!! I am confused why we paid $143.19 when the room charge was $118. We have had better breakfast offerings. There was only one juice available. The oatmeal was so stiff one needed to use an extra spoon to get it out of the ladle. The brown sugar was hard. We found it interesting the mechanical room for the elevator was not around the elevator. Although our room was at the far end of the hall away from the elevator we were able to hear it.

Pool was out of order for the 2 days we were there which was a huge disappointment. Elevator door was not working properly. They couldn't figure out how to get the bright red light on the phone to stop blinking so had to cover it with a towel. Bar area was nice, room was nice and having an EV charger was great. Also Wendy's and Taco Bell right across the parking lot was convenient.

The location for us was great close to everything. The lobby area and amenities were great and well kept. Rooms need to be better cleaned and kept up with as well as upgraded.
