A convenience hotel and no more. For us it just happened to be very near a wedding we were attending hence staying there and we paid £185 for a premium room for one night as we like our creature comforts including a decent size bed and mattress for a decent nights sleep.
Sadly it didn't happen in our room 124. The bed was tiny, as the relatively nice staff readily agreed, telegraphing our complaint was one of many, many dissatisfied guests. All unnecessary as the room was easily big enough for a larger bed as should befit a premium level room - the cause was the owners being too tight when furnishing.
Also the mattress was rock hard, like sleeping on a pavement and the 'bedside table' so called was the size of a postage stamp - wife had phone on her side leaving zero space that had to be remedied by it going on the floor. Tiny bathroom, couldn't stretch arms out and touch both walls in any direction.
Poor maintenance too - broken chair in front of dressing table, loo ran water after most flushes needing the handle to be joggled to stop it.
Dreadful value for £185 - won't go back.
