Classic European hotel in the heart of Lund, comfortable, clean and quiet. We were there visiting our son who's studying at the university and also enjoyed a couple of very good meals at the restaurant. There's much nearby and we had a nice view overlooking the square.

We had the Christmas dinner at this place. The hotel is a bit dated which gives it some charme. The food was good, the buffet was rich but to me felt more like a starters buffet. Unfortunately, almost no Christmas decoration apart from the nice tree in the foyer. Option of non alcoholic drinks was very limited. The buffet was completely overpriced for what it was, but we should have known this before. They managed to put two bottles of wine on the bill where we had only two glasses. It took an escalation to resolve this and while we got the money back, there was not much sorry and also not much thinking about the inflated tip which was a percentage on the credit card machine. Overall a pretty mediocre experience.

I've been to Grand many times and have always been happy with the food and service. This time unfortunately one of our dishes was cold and soggy. When asked how it was, we told them. They apologized profusely, gave us some chocolate and then didn't charge us for the dish. Nobody is perfect but it's how you respond when something that goes wrong that defines you. Grand responded brilliantly with the customer in mind. Something that's unfortunately all too rare today. For that, I rate them 5 stars and would highly recommend them.

Royal and grand- traditional yet complete. The hotel is furbished cosy, warm and clean. Love the decor and ambience at the restaurant. Reception staff are friendly and helpful.

I came here for a business trip. The hotel is located very close to the station and the ica supermarket. The room was very small and looks very old fashioned. The tv is the smallest I’ve come across and must be 20 years old. The interior is really tired and worn out. You can have a classic look but still new and maintained but this feels otherwise. The soap was not refilled and smells weird. The breakfast was nice and had a few options to choose from. Staff is very friendly. Overall it’s too expensive for what it’s worth. The rooms need to be seriously renovated for the price.
