The Good: Our room was clean and quiet, with this hotel in a great location, ample parking. One of the only “brand” hotels in the area. The pool and jacuzzi in the courtyard looked nice. There is a top Starbucks location across the street. The Bad: This property was a gem back in the 1990s but it is in need of significant renovation and repairs. Some light fixtures inside the room and bathroom didn’t work. Ceilings, walls and furniture were damaged by water and age. The lobby was dim, humid and was not welcoming.

We were comfortable it felt like we were in an apartment instead of a hotel room. The pool is nice and clean. There is a laundry room so I was happy that I could conveniently wash our wet and dirty clothes and fold them back into our suitcase. There is also a gas station and a Starbucks right across. Legg Lake Park is conveniently within walking distance. Prices were reasonable. I will stay here again.

My experience staying in this hotel met my expectations with the cleanliness and very friendly upon arrival at the front desk. The front desk person was very friendly and very polite. I didn't have any issues checking in. I booked the deluxe king suite Nonsmoking The room didn't have an odd smell like for example smoking. The room was clean and the bathroom was too. The area is a very quiet place and it's close to the gas station and freeway. There is also a Starbucks close by. I didn't have any issues or complaints about this place. I'm booking again in the future. I'm very satisfied with my stay here.

I stayed here a few months ago and just booked my second trip. I'll be bringing my family from Colorado. The rooms are huge and I had a nice experience with the staff. Be aware that you're staying at the Ramada and not the Waldorf Historia. Welcome to Monte.

We had one of the worst experiences ever in a hotel here. Initially I was emailed an online check in link. I followed it and was directed to the front desk. They continued to go through the full check in process anyhow. Not the end of the world but why offer it. The staff were friendly and helpful though. The hotel itself was completely run down. Our room was dirty. And not just normal hotel use dirty. This showed major signs of neglect over the years. Like urine stains on the floor neglect. The hot tub never got hot. The pool was ice cold. And th hot water in the room wasn't hot at all. My wife couldn't even shower comfortable. We tried to push through it and take a nap but the pillows smelled like stale water. That was our breaking point. For us the room usually just needs to be clean and comfortable. This was neither. We were given a partial refund and promptly found a different hotel. I don't think I'll ever stay at another one if these properties again.
