Beautiful hotel great staff close to the best shopping

Very gracious !

This is a very special hotel, the room was a suite with a couch and chairs in the living space and a coffee bar. The bathroom was a little tight but had everything we needed. It was a terrible blustery day in Boston and the staff was accommodating with an umbrella and very friendly. The bed was one of the best I have ever slept in. Great location, highly recommend.

The hotel was clean and the staff were extremely friendly. They let us store our bags before check-in so we could wander the city for a while in the morning, and at check-in the called us to let us know the room was ready, and they had brought our luggage up to the room for us. Upon check out, they let us store our bags again until we were ready to leave the city. It was a big plus not to worry about dragging our luggage around. The room itself was spacious and clean, and the mini bar was stocked with a variety of items though it was a bit expensive. There was no lack of sleeping space as we had 2 beds in a separate room along with a pull out couch, so everyone was comfortable. We would definitely book here again.

'Old School' remodeled hotel with a historic flare. Been around for decades. Love the fact they still use actual keys. Conveniently located.

This hotel is AMAZING. We had an awful expereince elsewhere so decided to change hotels one the second day of our holiday. We choose the Eliot Hotel as it looked elegant - it was so much more ... Firstly, we arrived at 8.30am in the morning (such was our expereeince at the previous place). The lady on reception told us both rooms were available and promptly checked us in, some six hours or so before normal check in - in my experience only boutique hotels where service is their key mission, deal with guests in this way. We had two rooms - both suites. They were spacious with good views of the boulevard and clean. In one word the rooms were fantastic. We will come back - in a heartbeat. Wonderful hotel, book it now !!! The staff were very helpful and very communicative.

Great stay!

The Eliot is a lovely hotel with gracious and welcoming employees. The location is perfect, walkable to Newbury Street and Copley. The air conditioning/heating system in the rooms is very loud and outdated. On this visit, the room was not as clean as on other occasions. With it being Marathon Monday, the price was twice the usual price. That said, it is a comfortable hotel with thoughtful staff, and I like staying there when in Boston.

Wonderful stay during the Boston Marathon! Everyone was so helpful and friendly and the room was beautiful!
