I had booked an extra night, to make my traveling plans easier. But didn't know that I had to pay £10.00 a night for parking, so it made a good priced hotel, dearer.

Noisy room for disabled which was via cheap door connected to other room(where somebody was listening tv all night)

We were given the room for people with disabilities and the toilet was high and sink was for us. The smell of bleach on arrival wa also strong on arrival and this lasted into the afternoon of the next day, wasn’t pleasant. The bed was smaller than a double nit sure why but it was comfortable to sleep in with another person in there as well. Overall adequate but likely wouldn’t book again.

Every member of staff was warm, friendly and helpful. Access to the places of interest is all in easy walking distance.

Parking on site £10 for the night with secuirty too. We had a room next to some very loud girls, asked if we could upgrade or move to a quieter part & staff were great & relocated us to a little 6 room area, well happy & slept without disturbance. Good selection offered for breakfast

Hotels.com outline free parking at the top of the page. On arrival, I was met with a parking attendant and had to pay £30 for three nights. When checking in I raised this, original lady offered full refund, then manager was listening in. Came all guns blazing and stated that parking was not free and that if I’d looked properly on hotels.com (at the bottom of page) I would know this. And that the free parking was based on old reviews (not made obvious on booking page). The original lady then changed her mind and offered £20 refund rather than full. I accepted this and appreciated the gesture. I explained to the manager that the booking page is misleading and should be changed, the manager was not open to this feedback. A main reason I booked this hotel was for the free parking. I would advise if this is also you, don’t waste your money and try somewhere else as most parking areas in Chester are £10/night and hotel prices are similar.

I wish to claim for a full refund. The property has a bar opened to 0200 AM and the noise in the hotel from 2-4 in the morning had affected my sleep and made the stay uncomfortable. No one picked up the phone and I complained to the hotel duty manager. The sockets in my room did not work also. Disaster. Full refund please

We loved our four night stay.We have been there before and enjoyed it then too.The breakfast was good too.The cleaners did a fantastic job and changed the towels and bedding if needed.We loved being able to make a free hot drink when we got back from our walks.The staff were all very friendly too.Theres nothing that we didn’t like.
