The Hotel location was super convenient and walkable to attractions (Citadel and Waterfront) if you are a tourist. The location being on a side street provides an easy pull up for check in and valet parking if you are opting for that. There are good restaurants in the area that are also walkable. It was unfortunate that we were woken up at 8:30 am on our first morning by a maid knocking on our door. The room and beds were comfortable but the room could benefit from a decorating update. It is not quite as nice as the website portrays online. We also didn't see any coffee made available for hotel guests in the morning. There is a restaurant on site where you can purchase breakfast.

Everything was wonderful, very friendly staff, very clean, really comfortable beds, awesome patio, restaurant and bar. Only complaint is the pool, hot tub, sauna amenities. Kinda gave YMCA vibes and wasn't 1/2 as nice as the rest of the hotel.

Rachel at the check-in counter was really great! The location is perfect for walking around downtown, the bed is super comfy and room had everything we needed :)

We enjoyed a 6 night stay at the Prince George. Our room was clean and our view was the Citadel. The location of this hotel is excellent, as you can easily walk to all parts of the downtown and the waterfront. We did not make use of the restaurant, as there are so many options to choose from nearby. The fitness centre met our needs, but with all of the hill walking, we didn't feel it was a huge priority compared to other places we've been. Our only complaint about our stay was the drop ceiling in the shower ... it's rather gross. Otherwise, our room was impeccably clean. For a first trip to Halifax, we're so glad we chose the Prince George.

Comfy beds, lovely breakfast, excellent housekeeping. Glitchy TV reception and not enough (shower) towel racks in the bathroom were our only minor quibbles. Overall, wonderful stay!

Unfortunately, it's a little noisy due to thin walls, bothersome when guests talk or have music in evening and night times.

Nice hotel. Staff was friendly - without being pretentious. Room was comfortable and spacious. Hotel was clean and modern. Parking was very convenient and they have a dedicated elevator to the parking area if you want to self-park (and why not? easy in and out and very convenient). Of the two big hotels in the downtown area - we stayed at both on opposite ends of our trip - this was by far our preferred. Restuarant was very good and convenient. (Great breakfast buffet, btw, with eggs bennies). Would stay here again.

Everything was as you would expect from a premium hotel but the service was exceptional. Great team effort by all. It was a pleasure to meet so many Prince George staff members that were so invested in the care and well-being of their customers

Overall a well managed property with a customer-focused approach. Great amenities, clean and quiet room, and fantastic mattress. Only downside was a residual smoke smell in our room - I suppose the hotel has no means of screening-out selfish guests who insist on smoking in their room.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel great location to get to the citadel and walk down the hill to the city and the waterfront. The beds and pillows are supremely comfortable. The room was very nice although there were some areas that could’ve been cleaned a little better. We didn’t really experience the staff other than checking in, which was really courteous and friendly. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. There are so many local eateries around the hotel however, the breakfast looked very good.

Great location, quick walk from all attractions. Pool, hot tub. Sauna was awesome. Stayed for 3 night and enjoyed our stay. Many food options nearby.

I was told that the breakfast was included with the stay but I was charged for the breakfast. Ate out the other two mornings. Staff was very polite. Rooms clean

While the beds were comfortable, I felt the bathrooms could use modernizing and our room on the 5th floor just as you exit the elevator was very noisy.
