The room wasn’t ready when we arrived an hour past check in time. Offered a waterfront room as an upgrade, and the bathroom was found to be in poor condition to the point we did not want to stay. When we approached the office staff and a manager, they were extremely rude and unapologetic. Any type of refund was refused, all that was offered was a move to the room originally reserved.

The rooms we’re disgusting carpet is gross wouldnt take my shoes off in the room. No light fixtures over the light bulb and fan in bathroom sound like a dirtbike running. Stay away from this one

Staff were very friendly. Hotel was run down. Upper walkway swayed and creaked when you were walking to your room. Room was ok mostly clean. Hot tub in room was wonderful. Great views of the lake with easy access.

The room was filthy filthy filthy the hotel is filthy. Filthy run down. The floors are so tacky and disgusting. The building is falling down in need of major major repairs. The whole experience was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced in my life.

The room was clean and confortable there was enough towels curtesy soap and shampoo I love that it was quiet loved that I had a balcony view of the lake very calm and relaxed. The only thing about the room was the furniture and flooring needs an update the staff is very nice

This was a promising choice at the outset. It is right on the main strip close to shopping, dining, and the ferry services to get out to Mackinac Island. It is on the beach with a nice looking beach front area and the staff was pleasant. That is where the promising part ends. The room was very dated and in great need of a remodel. The wallpaper was peeling and the bathroom had some staining and mold issues. The windows were only secured by a small, thin metal pin and were made of aluminum so flimsy that one could just give them a good push and have entry to the room. When we arrived the nightstand next to the bed had a piece missing which we found laying on the floor. The bed itself was clean but had these weird hooked bars sticking out one side. The table in the room was unstable with the top flipping up if we so much as brushed against it. The descriptions we saw online said they offered a "light breakfast" which actually consisted of your choice of a cookie or a granola bar. No microwave in the room but there was a small refrigerator. We did ultimately decide to stay as the bed was clean and we were only there for a short stay but never again.

The staff was great, the price was good. We stay there every time we go to Mackinac. This time it seemed extra dated and not as clean. Our bed was slightly broken, we didn’t complain about it. I’m sure if we did, the staff would have done something for us. The gnats around the property were terrible, but probably not much anyone could do about that. The kids had a lot of fun in the pool. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and it didn’t cost us an arm and a leg.

Location was close to attractions, places to eat and walking distance to the ferry. the price for the room was reasonable for what we needed. Staying on Mackinaw island was just too pricey. Room had no charging outlets and no microwave.

Lots of bugs everywhere, balcony, entrance, by beach, spider webs in balcony, I duck feved all over beach, they need to clean thouroughky, in room no one came to check on Tv, it was reported, volume did not work, bathroom air blower in bath rowing so loud, tv very loud, , Nooo breakfast, office not open from 11-7 in am, had to ask fir coffee, we got by,,, but if clean a little mirr thouroughly, may get rude if intense bugs, ..

The room was full of sand. The floors had stuff stuck on the floors like something had been spilled and wiped /smeared. There was tissue/toilet paper stuck in holes in the wall. The doors did not completely close or seal around them so there were bugs, it was cold in the room with constant wind blowing through. I had stayed here last year in a king room and it was a much better experience but this was disappointing and disgusting! I won't be back.

The front desk lady was really nice. They were very accommodating to my room location request. Unfortunately the rooms are in a bad need of updating and deep cleaning.

Like my Lakeview room, clean and a short walk to the town center.

Room was decent, pool and hottub were clean amd in working order. Beach was beautiful. Price was right.

Floors were filthy, missing moldings around the room, chairs and table broken. The chair was wobbly! Crumbs and bundles of dust balls everywhere. Bathroom very outdated, falling apart. Bathtub was black encrusted, as was the flooring in bathroom. Balcony was very dirty and missing chunks of fake grass. Thank goodness just a one night stay!

Pictures missing off the walls, bathroom floor has visible damage with potential tripping hazard. Hole in ceiling where hanging light fixture was. Faded carpet. Only thing decent was the bed. Will not stay here again.
