Not a clean hotel. It was OK. Only thing good was the river view. When you open the window, you have nice river flowing.

Staff was very helpful in assisting us with lost luggage

Enjoyed our stay in a beautiful area. The hotel is right on the river and very close to restaurants, cafes and shops. Rooms are good size with large bathrooms. Dervice friendly and helpful. Also is short walk to German border

We stayed here as we were visiting family in Rheinfelden. Hotel is in a perfect location beside the river. The receptionist was very friendly. The double room we had was very small but it was fine for what we needed. The twin room we booked for our children was a lot bigger. It would be nice if there was a kettle & cups in the room. Reception were happy to give us a pot of hot water so we could make a drink, there is complementary drinks in the fridge which was nice. Breakfast was good. WiFi in the hotel worked well. We had a good stay and would stay at the hotel again.

Check out staff very brusque. Room was great overlooking water but beware insects if you open window.

Comfortable and clean hotel. Restaurant food was excellent as well, although expensive (this is Basel, so I wasn't surprised). Perhaps slightly under-staffed in that there only seemed to ever be one person managing both the restaurant and the desk (both in the evening and in the morning) but it wasn't a problem.

The staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is on the main street and very nice to take short walks at any time of the day.

Perfect location in beautiful Rheinfelden. Loved staying on the Rhine with a view of Germany across the river. Excellent hotel for the price.

Very quite hotel in central location - excellent for a one night stay

I had a nice position overlooking the river...it was more like a hall of residence room and bed than the Ritz though. All very clean and functional though.

Enjoyed the stay and enjoyed the restaurant food every day.

Not ideal for the business traveler. Wifi didn't work and no A/C could not offset nice staff and good food.

Hotel location was great, right downtown. Morning breakfast buffet was wonderful with wide selection and the hotel itself was nice. The rooms were good and had great views of the river. Bathroom was good but could use a little updating. Would definitely stay there again.

Very quiet and comfortable for a one night stay

A decent hotel when taking the possible selections in the city into consideration. And the nice view to the Rhein which is right next to the hotel is a big plus.

Clean, tidy and exactly what we needed-did exactly what was required and a good base.
