A little more out of the way but excellent bus system. The breakfast spread everyday was very well done. Not sure how there was a disconnect between Expedia and the hotel but our street side balcony rooms booked for 9 nights turned out to be w a view of a poorly maintained interior courtyard, basically viewing a sky roof over the lobby w 1st floor rooms. Very disappointing. And the Expedia chat feature gets no replies from the property when asking for early check-in. That was my error a detail o overlooked but resulted in waiting 4 hours for room after a flight from North America. Back start to the 10 day time in Paris. We got on track and appreciated what the Hotel offered!

We really enjoyed our stay, the whole hotel is air conditioned and beautifully cool even in a heat wave. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the location is excellent. Lots of restaurants and cafes around but the hotel and street are very quiet. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and modern boutique hotel with excellent air conditioning. Rooms are small, but bathroom is nice and renovated. Breakfast was also delicious. Only drawback is that the elevator is tiny and often occupied by the cleaning staff. Be prepared to get your steps in by taking the stairs!

This hotel is a gem in the city of Paris. Close to the airport train station, within walking distance of Pantheon and Notre Dame, with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The rooms are spotless, new modern decor, and have air conditioning. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I will definitely recommend Hotel Oratio to anyone visiting Paris.

Great breakfast. Clean well appointed room looked out onto a beautiful church, loved hearing the church bells during our stay.

Rooms were a little on the small side. There wasn’t really room to open your suitcases other than on the bed or on the rack. Otherwise the space was great. The staff was really nice and the location is fantastic.

O hotel está muito bem localizado. A equipe é super gentil. No térreo há uma máquina com água/ gelada/gás/natural/quente chás e tb café Nespresso. Uma gentileza muito útil. O quarto é pequeno, mas impecável, assim como o banheiro. A estadia foi perfeita.

The hotel was great, the room was really nice and well appointed, and it also had air conditioning, which was a bonus…the breakfast was good with a good variety. The location was fantastic, close to a lot of restaurants and shops, but far enough away that it was still a quiet area. One thing to note, there is a church across the street that rings their bells a lot in the mornings, we got used to it, but if you wanted to sleep in, it could be an issue… We would recommend this hotel!

Really nice location. Very central to the Latin quarter, the Parthenon, Mouffetard street and the island with Notre Dame. Room size is as ok as possible given Paris. AC was working so-so. Small elevator and good size stairs. The breakfast is alright, very nice service, but good could have been a bit better or varied. Many other options within 5-10 minute walk.

This was a very nice hotel. There was a heat wave and the air conditioning in the room was excellent. It did break the last day but it was cooler by then. Breakfast is very good. The location is busy, somewhat noisy with many students from the Sorbonne plus alot of tourists. There are bakeries, restaurants, etc right near by. THe hotel is very close to the Seine and no more than a 10 minute walk from Notre Dame. My only concern is that it was not that close to a useful metro stop. There is one a block or so away but it did not go anywhere we needed. We always needed to walk about 10 minutes to the Jussieau station. (You could change trains to go to the closer one). I would have preferred staying closer to a good station since we were using the metro several times a day.

I stayed for two nights. everything here is quite small (i guess it’s normal in Paris) but it’s a well equipped property and room. sound proofing is quite decent as im a light sleeper. hotel staff are nice and helpful

We had a superior standard room, which was so small we could not open both of our suitcases at the same time. For the cost of this room we could have stayed someplace much nicer.

The Oratio is in a wonderful location in Saint-Germain, within walking distance to restaurants, charming bakeries, the metro, the Latin Quarter, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and more. We stayed 3 nights in a balcony room and really enjoyed having coffee outside in the mornings with the sunshine. After our tour, we also stayed 2 nights in a superior room. Both rooms were cozy and comfortable. The front desk staff was wonderful — always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. There is also a complimentary 24/7 coffee and tea station with several selections available, which was a nice touch. One thing to note during our May stay was that the air conditioning was not available. We later learned you can request a fan for better air circulation if you prefer not to keep the window or balcony door open because of some street noise. “We loved our stay at The Oratio and would happily stay there again for the wonderful location and exceptional staff.”
