Elegant hotel - clean large room

Staff is competent and courteous. Cleanliness was perfect. The only reaosdn I dod not give excellent rating is becuase they gave us a bad room, in spite being told that we had been upgraded

One of the best hotels i have stayed in..

The hotel is in an amazing location right next to Brandenburg gate. You can feel the history throughout the building. However, rooms need and upgrade, tiny fridges, not many minibar or snack items, very small shower for a deluxe room. Also, despite there being many available tables, the constant waiting at breakfast does not help.

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, well designed and spotless. The spa was also really lovely. The breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Firstly, the hotel was as you expect an iconic old hotel to be. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find my way around.

The location is unbeatable next to Brandenburger Tor. Rooms luxurious and the breakfast was one of the best ever!

Spotless, well-appointed room, excellent service from staff

This is the best hotel in Berlin but it's more than that to us. Its a wonderful experience filled with first class customer service. The staff make it work. No one will walk past you without acknowlegding you. The hotel itself is wonderful and the location is great, near transportation, but its the great staff that really make it. Thank you.

The breakfast was very well layed out with a large selection. Top quality. hot tub was there but not functioning. The pool was a little chilly .The breakfast and bar service was slow and not that attentive for a 5 star hotel

The hotel is very luxurious and located right on the front line facing the Brandenburg Gate. The staff and hotel facilities, along with the culinary experience, are simply perfect. The breakfast is excellent, upscale, and attentive, with a large team and an outstanding overall experience. Highly recommended.

Awesome property and service. Great breakfast - highest quality food with formal/unobtrusive service. Beautiful quiet rooms (we had 2 rooms). Convenient to S-bahn & U-bahn (subway/elevated trains). Area is very quiet at night and not a large variety of restaurants. Great location to all of Berlin’s tourist spots.
