We stayed at Hotel Bourgogne & Montana for a quick girls' trip to Paris. This boutique hotel was perfect for this occasion! It felt elegant and stylish with no pretention. The staff were very friendly. We could always help ourselves to water and coffee in the lobby. The hotel neighborhood was quiet at night, and had several cafes and shops within a few blocks that felt very local. We would definitely recommend this hotel for those who plan to be out all day, and want comfort and quiet at night. If you're looking for lively, loud, cafes and bistros right outside the door, this isn't the place for you. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was average, a bit expensive for what it offered. Rooms smelled of sewage but was dealt with somewhat quickly by changing our room the next night.

Our room was great. It was an odd shape, but for a large European city we had a lot of space. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was always very helpful. The area is also great; it’s quiet but close to most of the tourist spots. However, the bed was awful. I felt like I was sleeping on a table because it was so hard. I was very tired every night and I still had trouble sleeping because the bed was so uncomfortable. If it weren’t for the bed, I would stay here again.

We had a good experience - everyone at Reception was nice (doesn’t have that “if you don’t speak French I ain’t talking to you” vibe), bed and pillows were comfy and my sensitive/allergy prone skin approved the sheets! We loved the aesthetics of the hotel and the room, bathroom is a bit tiny though so it doesn’t have enough hooks (for used clothes that can still be worn again) or space for toiletries - ended up using the kitchenette table for toiletries which is just outside the bathroom. We super loved the “Welcome note with Macarons and chocolates”. The hotel is very close to Assemblee Nationale (Parliament, lower house) and while we were there I think there was some protest, and police officers were everywhere! The location is also very close to Plaza de la Concorde, Seine (good area to run!), Napoleon’s tomb and a 30 min walk to the Eiffel Tower (or about 2 train stops if you opt to take the train), closest train station is 350m (5mins) away!
