Overall our stay was good. Some of the issues were beyond the control of the hotel, like the loud construction next door which started VERY early our first morning. The rooms are not very sound proof. We had neighbours who came in and out of their room at all hours and liked to chat outside our door. The thing I found most annoying that could easily be rectified is the bedding. We had a king bed that clearly had queen bedding on it. Obviously the fitted sheet would not stay on properly and the comforter barely covered the mattress. Disappointed there was no complimentary breakfast which most Holiday Inn’s offer, instead there was a $22 breakfast buffet. All in all not a bad stay but could have been better.

The issue with the room was the plumbing at the tub 504 room . If y want a shower tub spout goes on at the same time as the shower and will not shut off . After cleaning the air con was turned on by staff . The air con is so loud we could not have it on . We are early risers and the restaurant was not open early enough for us for breakfast . No spare toilet paper was left in the bathroom . The place was nice and relatively quiet . Staff polite

Gym is very very basic . Small swimming pool. Poor service. Staff not nice the way they interact. Poor costumer service. I was disappointed. Doesn't deserve the price I paid

Clean room, helpful staff

Room was clean, staff friendly. Area has construction going on the signs for the hotel were off the building at my visit making it difficult to know if I was in the right place room have coffee maker but no sugar or milk for morning coffee. No coffee available for guests in Lobby for guests who don’t want to sit in for breakfast. Rooms are not sound proof could hear music and doors opening and closing. It’s not what I expected for a Holiday Inn Hotel but definitely a 3 star hotel.

The breakfast buffet is incredibly overpriced. We eat in the bar once and took take out once. I had to argue with the server to give me real cutlery instead of plastic The bar/restaurant service was neglectful of patrons..

Stayed one night for a family event—my first visit to Quebec. The hotel’s location was convenient for driving in and out. I appreciated Amanda at the front desk, who kindly assisted me with retrieving my IHG membership information so I could check in early. The room was generally fine, but there was a strong odor in room 522. Upon checking, I noticed the smell seemed to come from the AC unit, which had visible black spotting across the fan section. This should be addressed by maintenance. At checkout, I stopped by the dining area to ask if there was a place to heat my food. The staff member (Latino looking guy) I approached responded not with a greeting, but with “Do you work for the hotel?” in a dismissive tone. When I clarified I was a guest, he reluctantly directed me to the back. After heating my food, I considered sitting to eat, but he quickly came over and told me, “No, no, this area is for my guests. You can’t eat here.” I asked where I could sit, and he replied, “I don’t know, but the rules don’t allow outside food.” I understood the policy, but his tone throughout was condescending and unwelcoming. I left feeling singled out and disrespected, which was disappointing compared to the otherwise positive service I received at the front desk the prior day. Customer service, welcoming, and respect, should be the standard for all guests and colleagues of the hotel.

This place is little away from downtown. Consider for a quiet and comfortable stay. Very respectful staff members.
