It's a decent hotel but a little expensive for what you get. What you do get is a nice, quiet-ish hotel with a view on Piazza Cavour with a gorgeous view (if you got one of the rooms with a balcony like I did) and an unbeatable location.
Breakie was a bit paltry, I felt, and to be honest it was expensive for what you got but to be expected on the main Como piazza on a busy weekend/weekend.
Staff were great and very helpful. When I asked for non touristy good restaurants, they directed me to some great places. The main square bus stop is right outside and it is a stupid easy walk from both train stations to get to the hotel.
I'd stay here again, though I'd say the place is good, not great, but do not have that option to select.
