We stayed here traveling on our way to our trip to Thunder Bay. It was good for one night and always appreciate a breakfast. The lady working the breakfast area was great!

Great room, parking is super breakfast great.

Perfect stay , only thing I had a problem with is my room was right beside stair well and I heard everything all night long , other that that was good

We had a great stay! Gerald in reception was very welcoming and a very bubbly person, The room was very clean and the AC was blowing very cold which was a welcome feature during the hot Winnipeg summer. The breakfast was also good with a good selection of breads pancakes and beverages. All in all a great value for our money and will definitely consider staying there again for a staycation.

Gross, shabby and run down. Smelled gross, dingy.

We arrived at 3:30 and there was a long line of people waiting to check in and no-one at the front desk. Took us 30 minutes to get to the front of the line to then be told that our room was not ready and that the front desk person has been stripping rooms to get them ready. Had to wait another 20 minutes to get in. Instead of switching up rooms to get people into their rooms - they kept people in their original rooms (standard room). Didn’t make sense. Very frustrating when we are visiting to attend an event and it took almost an hour to get into our room. Staff was friendly, but clearly not enough staff if rooms aren’t ready for people to check in after regular check in time.

The hot water was only a trickle!

The hotel itself is fine, but the check-in process was terrible. We waited over 90 minutes for our room to be ready. Arrived at 315 and didn’t get a room till 445. Staff at the desk said they were short staffed and still cleaning the rooms. When asked they would not assign us to a room that was ready. Several times while we waited the front desk guy went and stripped beds for the housekeeper. No discount offered no water while we waited. This could have been handled far differently. We were not the only ones who experienced this yesterday.

Outdated, but very clean and great staff.

Many people had their vehicles broken into. I heard 4. Our friends were one of them. Our room wasn’t ready till an hour and 10 minutes after check in time. We were there right at 3 so had to wait for it. More security and staff needed to make sure we get our room at check in time.

it seemed like this hotel catered to long-term rentals. The hallways were very smelly. They were things left out in the hallway outside of rooms. We were considering changing hotels, but it was late and decided just to stay. We did not try the breakfast as we did not feel comfortable eating at this location.

Nice rooms

The front desk staff were great, the room was clean. However it needs updating. The carpets in the hallway and the room both smelled musty. They need to be updated. The bedside table had next to no finish left on it. Our stay was good, but the musty smell made it not excellent.

The staff are accomodating and helpful.

Reservations were made well in advance and confirmed prior to arrival. However, on arrival we were told that one of our booked rooms was unavailable, had been damaged the previous evening, and there were no other rooms available. This after being on the road for 13 hrs! There had been no communication to advise of this while we were in transit....and based on the level of instant communication in this day and age, that is inexcusable. Comfort Inns will definitely NOT be our choice of accommodation in the future.
