The staff were courteous and helpful, particularly the young man at the desk on the evening we checked in -- and the young Cooper's server we met at breakfast today. The beds were very comfortable! The rooms were fairly clean, but I wish there had been a ventilation fan in the bathroom and a wider selection of TV channels -- such as PBS and CNN. Also, I'd appreciate receiving some sort of confirmation that the $150 deposit (that I paid upon my arrival) was refunded to my VISA account, as I did NOT incur any additional charges during my one-night stay. Thanks.

Clean room, on site parking and close to the canal

We were travelling with guests from out of the country. One of our guests forgot his wallet in the room after check out. Housekeeping and the front desk were very helpful finding the wallet and getting it back to us.

The staff are great. From check-in to restaurant. They still need to change the toilet paper to better quality though

Room door very loud to open and close. Could hear children and adults yelling in their rooms while in our room. Room is older/dated, not as modern looking as the photos show. Bathroom is TINY. Staff was friendly though.

Excellent location right downtown - 5 min walk to Confederation park and the canal, another 5-10 min to the market. Clean and safe hotel, very quiet, beautiful up to date room, underground garage for only $20 per night. Very friendly staff. Super fair price. Will definitely stay again.

When we got there they made us put down $150 fee in case we messed up the room. This was a birthday gift and I didn’t have a credit card so my partner had to pay for it. We get to the room and it’s run down, not super updated. There was a crack in one of the walls that made it look like it wasn’t super supported. For the amount I paid for it I would expect free breakfast but they didn’t have one, it came with a restaurant on site that was expensive. They don’t have free parking and just in general the space feels like a bad hotel trying to be masked with slightly fancy things. You can tell that they only clean high touch places because the walls had food and random liquids on them from past stays and the entire room was just dusty. The sheets were scratchy and uncomfortable, all and all it just wasn’t a great stay. I also had an allergic reaction and ended up spending most of my time in the er and not in the hotel room. They refused to refund or at least reduce the cost of my stay despite proof and I didn’t even finish out the last night of my stay there because I thought it was something in the room I was allergic to (something I’m trying to actively figure out). There are many nicer hotels around, I’d choose one of those. I don’t like this place and will never set foot in it again.

Great location for a quick 20 hr stop in Ottawa. Walking distance to confederation park and parliament hill. Steps to Rideau canal access points for skating. Onsite parking very limited. Nearby lot is very expensive. But staff are lovely and will direct you to other nearby lots as well.
