Rooms were clean and has everything you need

Great location to city hall for parking, and central access to downtown sights. Elevators are slow.

Our family of three stayed for two nights at the Ottawa Embassy. The pictures online are very deceiving. Our room was dirty and were unable to fully relax when we were there. Food from their previous guests was left in our fridge, there was obvious spills that had been left so long dust was accumulating over them, there was even a bracelet behind the bedside table that had been left by someone else and obviously not noticed as the room was not vacuumed, along with some weird black smudges on one pillowcase. The balcony had cigarette butts and old dried up tissues on the floor. Upon checkout my husband mentioned this to the girl at reception and was told she would let the cleaning staff know. The location for what my family had planned was fantastic. It was convenient having the restaurant on site and we did have two meals there. Knowing what I know now, I would not book here again and do not recommend this hotel to others. I would hate for someone to waste their money based on the pictures provided online.

The hotel is in an excellent location, Very walkable. Loved the kitchen facilities in the room. However, I did ask for an accessible room and didn’t get one - we made do but the room entrance is awfully tight for a wheelchair to fit through. The parking is also not great when driving an accessible vehicle, I had to park across the street as my van would bottom out on their driveway. The hotel is in need of some maintenance especially in the accessibility area. Rooms would also benefit from having smart TVs.

The girl at the front desk that checked us in was wonderful! The only thing that was a bit of drag was upon arrival I didnt realize that parking wasnt included. When we got into our room it was very hot. There was only one AC unit in the bedroom, which I found odd for a hotel. We were one of the residents of ottawa that had been impacted by the flooding so our home had no AC and when looking for relief that was a drag. They did bring us another fan for the living room. The washer/dryer combo took FOREVER for one load. .. maybe i didnt know how to use it. Office area room could use a pocket door. But all in all....kitchen was cute/ beds were comfortable and i loved that my pup was able to come with us.

Very clean and spacious room, great staff

The room had everything we needed and was very clean and well maintained. The only minor downside was that the air conditioning was a bit noisy, which may affect light sleepers. The location is excellent, close to the main tourist attractions while still being away from the busiest crowds.

Nous avons été déçu car nous n'avons pas eu la chambre qu'on avais réserver. Mon ami a du dormir sur le canapé qui etait très inconfortable. Il nous ont donnée aucune compensation ou rabais pour le désagrément. Par contre le logement était très bien situé. Très propre.

Everything is fine, but no amenities

Good location in a quiet area, with on street parking available. All the sights in Downtown Ottawa were around a 15 minute walk with plenty of food options nearby. The room was clean, large, and we enjoyed the benefit of having a kitchen during our stay. I would stay here again when visiting Ottawa.

Amazing

If you've stayed at one Embassy Suites, then you know what to expect. Enjoyed it, though the bathroom felt quite small for its size. Otherwise great stay. Friendly staff and very close to it all.

A very convenient location. However, even though everyone is doing it, 28.00 plus tax per day for parking on their property seems a bit of a gouge. And, the server in the restaurant working all by herself was sad to see, She was doing her best but at mealtime, 2 should be the minimum number of workers in Cooper's Kitchen. O the upside, I was very surprised as I walked into the room to find it was a "junior suite" with a small kitchen. Too cool.

The washroom door was broken and balcony door couldn’t be locked . The staff told that they can’t change the room when asked . And no parking was available
