great room, friendly helpful staff, and very clean

Elevators not working properly, parking garage gate also not working.

It was somewhat problematic because there was night time construction on part of the external part of the building and the hotel put people in rooms where there was drilling from midnight onward; ended up moving to another part of the hotel at 2:00 in the morning on the second night. When this was raised with reception staff they basically had nothing to say.

Room was well appointed, clean and great view from the window…Public Gardens and city.

The Lord Nelson is a fantastic stay with stunning old Halifax charm, but new world amenities. The location is nothing short of amazing being steps from Public Gardens and a plethora of cafe's and shopping.

The door man brought my lugguge to my room. Thats the first!

The parking lot was on a renovation. Where we stayed was noisy due to street constructions. But the service was good with friendly staffs.
