Not good smelly

The hotel is nice, but they have a night club and the hallway off our room was also a main hallway for nightclub guests. Needless to say, it was very noisy with partying going on in the next room and a drunk women passed out outside our door. They moved us after we complained, but why put us there in the first place? The new room was quiet and the people at the front desk are super nice and helpful.

Hotel staff were extremely knowledgeable, cordial and friendly which made our stay even more pleasant. The whole decor was beautiful and homey. Loved my stay

Always enjoy myself at the woodlands. They accidently charged me for the stay even though i paid through expedia and caught it before i did. It was reversed before i checked out. They called to say my room was ready early. Great service!!!!

It was convenient to where i needed to be but I would choose another place next time. It was musty and drove my allergies nuts. Felt outdated,especially the banquet rooms. My coworker said it has gone downhill with current ownership from what it once was.

Everything is perfect at this place the food the service the club. But the pools and spas URGENTLY NEED AN UPGRADE. The smell of mildew is strong and there is a mysterious pipe pouring water in to the pool

Indoor pool was uncomfortably cold, jacuzzi wasn’t open/filled, found 2 full set of magnetic and glue eyelashes in my room (attached to mirror /headboard and on floor). Kids tried playing corn hole , only bags out were 2-one empty one ripped. Previous times you could go into the bar and leave your ID and they would give you a set of beanbags, when we tried doing this, the lady was super rude behind the bar and told us the only bags they had were out at the porn hole boards. Charged me early check in (even though place was empty, Monday )and dog fee twice had to have a manager fix it because desk lady wouldn’t recognize her mistake. Dining options were great, that’s about it.

The Woodlands is an outdated, aging “resort” with minimal amenities. Hot tub used to be its biggest attraction, hasn’t been working in years. Won’t be returning here again.

Excellent property nestled in the woods

The staff was not knowledgeable about the amenities on the property. Asked the front desk for directions to the nightclub and after hiking clear to the other side of the property, found the nightclub to be closed. Returned to front desk and was told that they didnt know the what days and hours they were open. What a waste of time! The rooms (I booked 2) were sub par. Broken and missing shelves in bathrooms. Walls had scuff marks and looked dirty. We felt like we were staying in a cheap motel while paying the price for a nice hotel. The hotel grounds and building exteriors are in need of serious work. At check out we voiced concerns about our stay, only to be met with a rude and nasty staff member. Her attitude was of someone that didn't like her job and could care less about hotel guests. After listening to some of our concerns, she got very nasty. We then asked to speak to a manager and after being made to wait, we were greeted with someone that we think was pretending to be a manager. We expressed our frustrations only to be met with a series of "I'm sorrys" and "you're rights". I have stayed here many, many times years ago. It is so sad to see how far this resort has fallen. We will NEVER stay here again!!

Great stay, clean & lots of fun stuff to do on the property

The staff was amazing but the property really needed some upgrades Very outdated The pictures shown are definitely old probably when they first opened The property looks nothing like the pictures on website

Stayed here with my family. Had a nice view of the river. The large hot tub was closed, and the pool was open, however, very musky. TV was broken in the room, but we were told that when we checked in and they gave us vouchers for breakfast and drinks at night

Lovely place but needs some updating for the cost to stay there

This is listed as a 4 star property, but it was built in the '60s and despite attempts to renovate the facility looks/feels tired. The doorways are narrow, there are multiple levels to get from point A to Point B. I can't imagine it ever being handicapped accessible. Wallpaper is patched, modern bath is tiny and sink splashes everywhere. Staff was very friendly, the grounds are obviously beautiful in season. But at best, this is a 3 star accommodation.

Enjoyed a creekside room with a small balcony. I am looking forward to returning when the weather is warmer and allows you to really enjoy the outdoors. The property looks beautiful. Well staffed with pleasant front desk personalities. Room was clean and the bathroom products were premium.

Great properties

I love that we didn't have to leave the resort. They have all the amenities on the resort. Staff are very friendly.
