Being a reknown hotel one woukd expect more cleaness, and less odors from common places like halls rooms etc. But overall a good enough hotel.

Very nice and comfortable hotel for our one night stop over during our Norway car trip. Beds very comfortable, dining options great as well as the bar options. Nice breakfast included with our room rate.

This hotel is new and very clean. Walkable to the restaurants. Breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel to friends.

The hotel is in a great place and the staff are wonderful. A bit tricky to find the entrance since the maps take you right past it. We did not have the best view from the 2nd floor but the rest was good. We would stay here again

The room was very hot (around 30°C in the afternoon with no air movement) and the shower leaked everywhere but was overall clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice - food and environment were good but other dining options in the town are limited.

The only useful part of this hotel is close to the bus stop. Access to the hotel was obscured by the directions to enter through the parking. Arriving at night was scary with no proper lighting or staff. The simple single room at $150 didnt have any ameneties or accessories, not even a fridge or a water boiler, no sleepers (at least!) Breakfast was fair and staff was ok. I will not stay again in this hotel.

Great hotel and location is convenient to explore Sogndal and surroundings. Very friendly staff!

They did the bare minimum to take an old and ugly property and make it look decent for pictures. Also they show case the breakfast area which is pretty to be sure but I don’t think the employees know what they are doing. None of the food was properly stored with catering dishes which keep hot foods hot cold food cold to avoid food poisoning. The food was brought out in the pots they were cooked in and small portions of the yogurt, meat and fruit were left out on small bowls or plates at room temperature. By the time we got there it had been sitting out for hours. For those that have never taken a food safety course, it’s not safe to eat at that point.

Pictures on website did not look like my room. My room was extremely basic.

Very spartan room, lacking even basic amenities, such as Kleenex (or similar) tissues. Expensive for the bare bones nature of the room. Property layout is odd. Our room faced a part of the building with constant passersby, making for a lot of noise disruption until after midnight. On the positive side, the gym is very good. Paid onsite parking for approximately $25/night using the Easy Park app.

We stayed here one night for the location. The staff was nice, but the room was hot and stuffy, paint was peeling in bathroom, etc. Beds were comfortable, though. Parking was available, at additional cost, paid on-line. Breakfast offered many choices.

It’s very close to the river and bus station. This hotel is very modern and has two different restaurants next to it. After a long day of hiking we were able to take quick showers and walk into any of the two restaurants without reservations. We decided to go to the Italian restaurant and sit outside. It was wonderful.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in June. The hotel didn't inform me any information about parking. I end up with receiving parking charge from my rental car company Hertz with 150 NOK plus 375 NOK administration fee.

Came back after previous visit in 2019. Oh what transformation. If you like clean towels daily and you bed made, Don't come here. On arrival receptionist was poor about information, not giving breakfast times and where to sit in addition to their new cleaning policy. Room in need of upgrade, ceiling lamps need replacement, bear live wires in new led light fitting, fridge thermostat broken. Need to come back for Norway Day, but it will be another Hotel that doesn't have "Quality" in its name.

Very pleasant. Excellent location by the fjord. Staff were friendly and efficient. The owner spent time to cover the various tourist attractions in the area.
