Clean room but no amenities.

Room windows were painted-shut, no way to open them. Room was equipped with a heater, but didn't have A/C, humidity stayed in and air wasn't renewed enough. Room doors aren't soundproofed enough, I had the bad luck of staying over a hockey weekend, and kids were running around and playing hockey in the corrider in front of my room, while parents were drinking beers and eating pizza next to them. Had to call front desk twice to get order restored (some people are working...) Cleanlines could have been better as well, while not the worst.

The staff are fantastic! They provided a suite when we inquired about an upgrade and made our stay a lot better. They also allowed us to check out later even though they were fully booked. The hotel could use a renovation but the state of our room and the facility is great. It’s obvious they work hard to keep it clean. Overall, it was a great stay!

Wow... This place was very run down. The smell of Lysol and cleaners was staggering. The hallways were very grungy and also very strong cleaning smell. The room was fine enough. Very random furniture place very oddly in the suite but functional. The large window in our living room part of the suite had very large cracks surrounding a break where a rock (i hope) must have been thrown at some point. This also meant that our room reaked of truck exhaust as rhe parking lot was full of trucks and the drivers seem to sit in them half the night idling. There were cracks in the walls of the shower. And clearly when they put in the newish floor of the shower they made no repairs underneath as it has a weird feling when standing on it. The heating was also very wonky. The temperature dropped and the thermostat made the bedroom heayer run on and off very loudly keeping us awake. It didnt seem to effect the living room at all! And when we asked about turning the fireplace on, we were told maintenance had to come as they had not serviced it in a long time. ??? The front desk was nice and maintenence was nice. We did not have the breakfast or use anything else. We were supposed to stay here next week as well for business, but have now cancelled.

The hotel stay was great. The room was extremely clean and I found the staff to be very amazing and kind. The only thing that could have been better would have been if the breakfast was as late as 10:00 a.m. instead of 9:00 a.m.

Very clean

The hot breakfast (eggs and sausage) was cold and the milk curdled. When I asked to have new milk, it was again curdled. The staff argued that they tested it and it was ok. It clearly was not! The TV did not function properly in the room. Location was fine as was the check in and check out.

We needed a one night stay in Barrie. The room was large and clean. Breakfast was tasty with a decent variety to choose from.

The bed was uncomfortable, pillows were hard and half sized, no movie channel, paper cups, plastic-like blanket

Clean and in good order

Room is clean, breakfast is good. I went on the winter season , it was quiet environment. Consider this is a two star hotel, the quality is way exceed my expectations.

Very clean, all linens white. No smells, stains, sounds, or surprises in the hotel or the room. Good wifi, good tv, fridge and microwave were helpful. All staff were helpful and friendly. Lots of breakfast options (if you like waffles take your own syrup). Great in room heater/air con. Good big desk to work at.

No staff/security…put us smack dab in the middle of a hockey team and was unable to handle them. We had to threaten to call police.
