A nice stay, with a very good breakfast. A few maintenance issues in the bedroom which needed addressing with a paint brush, and some cleaning issues, which were loose cotton threads from the sheets scattered everywhere. Simple stuff to do to get 5 stars, and to ensure standards are as they should be.

I had such a pleasant welcome when I arrived after travelling for several hours, and only to find out I'd be granted a free upgrade to my room. The room itself was lovely - full of character and wonkiness(!); my only critique might be that it could really build a bit more warmth with some artwork on the walls. The bathroom was great with everything needed and the bed was huge and super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and very generous in portion size - I had the scrambled eggs with salmon and a gluten free option on the toast. Thanks for a great stay - will be sure to book again when I am this way again for work.

Excellent old coaching inn. Main building rooms have tons of character. If you prefer hermitically sealed rooms then those not in the main building are more modern. Lovely location, nice local restaurants. Nice breakfast, friendly staff. Wine by the glass selection a bit hit and miss, as they ran out of two whilst we were there. Parking at back of hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at The Crown. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were well-appointed, and the breakfast was delicious, with a variety of choices that pleased everyone in our group. Easy parking in the lot behind the inn. The location is perfect for exploring Amersham and the surrounding area. We'd happily stay again!

Excellent friendly check in. Very good value for money. Great to have air conditioning in the room Top spot for pubs and restaurants and Amersham is so interesting to walk around.

We ended up getting g the wedding suite and it was amazing.

Central to a wonderful old town and an easy walk to everywhere. The rooms are a little small but the old building has charm, the breakfast was good and service was excellent.

Lovely stay with comfortable bed and everything we needed in the room. Our dog was made to feel really welcome with water bowl and treat in the room-nice touch! We would recommend and stay again ourselves when in the area.

Beautiful location and a really quaint and quirky hotel built in the 16th century. A number of boutique shops locally and plenty options for eating and drinking. Really friendly staff happy to help. Private car park with plenty of spaces.

Room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Air conditioning for heating and cooling.

There was a party underneath our rooms and we had to move.

Impeccable stay. My 20 year civil partnership celebration. We had a private room for the event, a few guests rooms booked. Staff efficient, attentive and so charming. Meal was amazing. Room 101 a divine room. The hotel is so charming in it's history period I defiantly recommend a stay here and explore the fascinating old high street and artisanal business.
