Prices were high due to it being Royal Ascot it was hot and we had no aircon .. apparently none were working on our floor ! No hot water in shower .. sink waste not working so had to run water to wash etc ! Breakfast was not great and only filter coffee included anything else was extra !

Convenient location for Ascot racecourse. Clean rooms & surrounding area. Nice little bar & good outdoor area.

The staff and the spa was amazing and the deluxe room was lovely

Staff were friendly and not overly formal - just the right mix to work with people from across the world. They were attentive to their guests needs. The grounds were lovely.

Annoying to be charged extra for an other than filtered coffee / why not charge 1-2GBP extra in the breakfast at the booking stage and offer any coffee ?? Hotel is tired and in my opinion for the rate needs an upgrade to the rooms

Television had very limited channels and the staff did not know how to tune it. Said that maintenance were the only ones who knew how to tune the televisions. No alternative was offered. And maintenance were not contactable until 7am. Ridiculous. Outside appearance away from the frontage very dilapidated and there were many areas that needed attention.

I walk with the help of a stick, my room was as far from reception as possible, with no offer of a closer one, despite not being full. Many small inconveniences with room which showed a lack of practical thought about guests.

Knob in shower was missing a piece, handle on cold water at the sink took two hands and muscles to turn. The building and grounds are gorgeous and feel historic which was nice. Dining staff is excellent. Would recommend despite hardware trouble in the bathroom

Rude ans very unwelcoming reception staff and staff that could not understand english in the dining area for breakfast. We were sat at the front and left sitting there as didnt know it was a buffet and this was not explained. Had no blanket in the room which was cold. There was no hot water for a bath in the evening or the morning and making poo looking stains around the overflow in the bath which i presume was rust. Very disappointed with the stay and probably would not stay again.

Check-in was good. Room in main house. Room was good but the bathroom had a window that people from outside could see into. Bar is fine - as is restaurant. Breakfast was also nice.

We loved our stay here. The staff seemed happy and were very helpful and kind throughout. The spa was busy and we needed to time going with the kids, though the facilities were lovely and we would definitely stay again. Really nice sized room for us and the two kids, food at breakfast was great and lots of choice. Service was fantastic - thank you to all who made our stay so enjoyable

I travel a lot and this was a poor all round experience and didn’t feel welcome at any point. Room had seen better days, customer service sadly lacking and finally dining at the restaurant recieved my meal undercooked, told it would be replaced, then received the same reheated food again. Appalling service, asked the service if they thought I should really pay for it, just got shoulder shrugs, no apologies. Will not be back!

Beautiful building, staff very friendly and welcoming. visit Ascot only a few minutes drive away. Would recommend

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Excellent pool and travelling into London was easy via train.
