Clean room amazing staff walking distance to city center and historic land marks and buildings.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Francis Hotel. It was five years since we last stayed there and the difference made by their extensive renovations is amazing! Beautiful rooms, even the small ‘cosy’ rooms, with thoughtful and artistic decoration and amenities. We stayed in the really hot weather and the great AC was very welcome! It’s in a fantastic location and we will definitely return.

Properly comfortable stylish stay. Room enjoyable to be in: hurrah. A good size, upbeat decoration - excellent bathroom products to enjoy. The cocktail bar knows what it is doing, restaurant good and not overpriced. Terrific location.

Absolutely the best hotel in Bath!! I would stay there every single time. So impressed the location, staff, restaurant and spa!!

Alex, who oversaw the lobby when we visited, was a model of gracious and effective hospitality. I’ve never met a hotel employee better at the job of anticipating questions, lending a hand with baggage, and supplying infirmation than Alex. He is a real credit to The Francis.

Everything was lovely, but the shower was a cramped for anyone over 6ft. Thank you for a lovely stay and see younext time

When you visit Bath you must stay at the Francis Hotel which is beautifully appointed, centrally located and staffed by incredible professionals. The food is delicious and the quality outstanding. The staff is welcoming, helpful and goes the extra mile. The rooms are gorgeous, comfortable and luxurious. Cannot say enough good things about the Francis Hotel.

All excellent, fantastic stay in Bath

Stunning hotel and beautiful bar. Rooms a lovely. Breakfast the following day was good, not amazing and staff seemed very busy so not so attentive. We asked for a high chair a few times and by the time one was bought to us we had already fed the baby. Apart from this we couldn't fault this hotel and will definitely stay here again if we visit Bath.

Beautiful room and hotel, very welcome with our young dog.

Had to wait 10mins for a table on both mornings. Breakfast was a buffet style which was not well replenished and out of items. Pretty disappointing choice of self serve items for a hotel of this rating.

Great place to stay in Bath - the hotel and rooms are lovely and you’re nice and central so can walk around.

The reception staff were great at everything they did for us. They went beyond expectations, and were genuinely enthusiastic.

Beautiful hotel in a location close enough to the centre of everything to be convenient but just far enough away to be apart from the noise. Very helpful staff and all the room amenities were perfect.
