Really nice old country style building, nice bar, gardens, close to the train town centre. Didn't eat but smelt good. Room comfortable and clean as new. Will definitely use again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel

Francesca was very helpful, I could store my bags, lovely old but modernly convienienced hotel.

The hotel is an oasis of peace in a beautiful Surrey town. The staff were very helpful and the grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was excellent. However the room was not as luxurious as the photos had led us to expect. Also curry night needs to consider English tastes, the korma was so spicy I could not eat it, very disappointing. Overall I would recommend the hotel as the situation, grounds and staff were brilliant.

Great location and quiet even though in town.

Very helpful and friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere

This is an excellent facility with good beds and bathrooms. Our stay was spoilt by surly unhelpful reception staff. After telling us that we could not check in before 3 pm, the same person checked in a crew of pilots. Then at 3:05 When apparently we qualified to check in we were given a room on the top floor. My wife had an injured knee and asked if there was a room available on a lower floor. Although we were the first to book in after 3 pm we were told there were no other rooms available . And no help in carrying luggage up two flights was offered; and no elevator. Hard to believe that either another room or help with luggage could have been made available

A pretty oasis hidden behind the high street! Lovely, friendly staff throughout. Couldn't be more helpful. Nice, comfortable room although a little difficult to control temperature. Pillows could do with an upgrade! Attractive room for breakfast and delicious but simple selection of food easy to navigate. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

The room was lovely and spacious. Very clean. Bed was lovely and big. The only thing that was a bit unnerving was the door lock. The locks on the door aren’t particularly safe and with our room being on the ground floor made it feel a little insecure. However, the complimentary water and hot drinks in the room was extremely handy! The breakfast catered for all with either a help yourself option or you could order something to be made off the menu. Couldn’t fault the breakfast at all. The only downside I would say, with our room being on the ground floor, the upstairs felt very noisy. We could hear every foot step and creak through the floor/floorbards. Appreciate this is a little out of their hands, but given we’d been at a wedding the day before, being woken up by stomping upstairs wasn’t hugely appreciated at 7am. This being said, we’d definitely stay here again but perhaps request a room above. Thank you for a lovely stay! X
