Bathroom needs some attention. Showing age. WiFi was useless for my son trying to complete online school classes and my husband couldn’t answer emails. Bed was hard. Pullout was so threadbare and creepy, my son couldn’t sleep.

Great staff very helpful at both. Check in and check out the room was clean accessible. The only real issue I had was I just didn’t really like the shower head that was in the shower, but aside from that everything was good as gold, even though the giveaway toiletry items were excellent.

First room they gave us the AC didn’t work. 100 degree room. Had to change rooms. 2nd room has mold on ceiling. No coffee in the hotel in the morning.

Excellent in every way

The room was nice and clean. Very small but updated bathroom. The beds were clean but the mattresses in my room sink in the center. I also very much enjoyed the convenient location. I would stay there again.

Great stay at Hotel Capstone. Staff was great and the on campus location can’t be beat when you’re visiting the University of Alabama!

Very clean, pleasant staff, comfortable bed

The staff was great and the room was comfortable. The only problem was the carpet was stain in numerous places.

I have stayed here many years coming to basketball games. I have never had to pay for parking until today. They said it was because people were parking that weren't guests and they were towing vehicles that didn't have tags. I was fine with that, but when the game was over, all the cars leaving the parking lot without hotel tags tell me they aren't towing anyone, just charging guests.

Amazing service

The room was good. There is no counter space in the bathroom, and the one glass shelf slanted froward so that stuff slid off. The hotel charged a safe fee with tax that was not disclosed on the total by hotels.com. Even though it was only a couple of dollars, it is kind of annoying, especially since I didn't use the safe. They also charge tax on the parking fee.

Perfect in every category. Staff extremely pleasant to interact with, location perfect.

Outstanding Environment

The value of this hotel is its proximity on campus. It could use some upgrades to the guest rooms. Bathroom was very small and the door was banged up. Breakfast was just as good as the free breakfast at Holiday Inn Express (which I enjoy). So paying $15 for it was a little annoying. I expected more if I was paying for it. Overall it was nice but could use some upgrades and should rethink the breakfast offerings if they are going to charge for them.
