We were booked to provide the wedding entertainment for Carly and Rob at this location and what superb service. We arrived in plenty of time to set up, and with the venue ready to set up, we were very ahead of schedule. Access was very easy, there was ample plugs to ensure safety and the catering was superb. All staff were very helpful. We had a superb night and all the guests had a great time. We would recommend the Aubrey Park Hotel for any function. You won't be disappointed

We booked our stay through a 3rd party with our company 3 weeks before out arrival, yet when we checked in the process was incredibly difficult. We where informed at this point the checks in where not delt with the reception and that we had to pay the £600. They eneded up calling the 3rd party organisation to clear the confusion before letting us check in. Once we eventually checked in, we where guided to a lift to our floor which took forever. Very small as well. When we got to our floor we had to walk for what felt like miles, down the corridoor, to the left to be faced with more corridoors to turn right to face even more corridoors to where we would eventually get to out room. Whilst walking down the corridoors, the floors where filthy, with multiple stains and clearly not been hoovered which didnt set my hopes up for the hotel room it self. When I got in my room is had a musky smell. When I lifted the duvet my bed was full of bugs and when I pulled my curtains multiple moths flew out along with 2 dead spiders which fell onto me. I went to the bathroom to clean myself to find carpet beatles crawling out of the carpet which has clearly not been hoovered or cleaned. The rooms are not soundproof and you can hear everything going on within the hotel and the corridoors. The food it self was overpriced for what I would consider when overcooked and chewy food which had flies all over it. I appreciate were in the middle of a acred wood and in the summer so I apreciate flies are not avoidable however measures they put in place to prevent the flies where pathetic and did not work. The parking is next to the bin shed which yes is fenced off but does not stop the offencive smell walking out of the hotel and towards your car. The first night we got there the TV fell of the wall near some customers who where watching the football and the bar had ants crawling all over it. This hotel is not worth the money, extemly overpriced for what you get.

When booking availability was very limited and the Aubrey Park Hotel was one of the more expensive options, so I expected much better. The first disappointment was the road leading to the hotel — it was full of potholes, and I had to drive extremely slowly to avoid damaging my car. The hotel itself feels very old and outdated. The room was acceptable, but all the furniture looked worn, the carpet and curtains were old, and the overall décor was very dark and gloomy. Some windows were damaged, which added to the neglected feel of the place. The hallways were probably the worst part. They felt dusty and unclean, with carpets that looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in a very long time. There were broken and damaged areas throughout the property, despite there being plenty of space and potential for the hotel to be much better with some investment. The one genuinely positive thing about this place was the staff. The reception team, bar staff, and restaurant staff were all friendly and helpful. The food was overpriced for the quality — I’d rate it around 5/10. If you only need somewhere to stay for one night, it’s manageable, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying longer. The hotel is surrounded by motorway roads, so there’s also nowhere pleasant to walk nearby.

Positives: the room was comfortable and clean. Negatives: too many to list. This is not a 4 star hotel and is hugely overpriced for what you get. It’s very tired and in need of modernisation with lots of general maintenance issues and no air-con in the rooms. The breakfast was a complete shambles and completely ruined the stay for us. We went for breakfast at 9am to find the buffet trays completely empty with no hot food at all. Several guests were standing around getting very frustrated and with no staff help we ended up going to reception to ask for help. After what felt like an age someone did eventually come out and they slowly began bringing food out one item at a time with long gaps in between adding to all our frustration. We eventually gave up and I ended up having a plate of beans, 1slice of bacon and a cold cup of tea. Left feeling like we had been robbed and will not be returning.

Very convenient to get too with plenty of free parking. Rooms were clean and comfortable, the only issue were very thin pillows and the shower head needed replacing. Plenty of hot water and pressure, fluffy white towels and I enjoyed the free biscoff biscuits. Dinner was a highlight, very tasty and well cooked food. Breakfast wasn’t as good but enjoyable nonetheless. Everyone on reception were super helpful. Definitely needs a lick of paint around the hotel. Lifts weren’t working but it’s only two floors to navigate so not the end of the world.
