Customer service upon arrival at this hotel on Friday, May 29th 2026 was exceptional. That desk clerk ( missed his name my mother was having issues with mobility and we had just made a fourteen hour trip) went above and beyond to help me and my elderly mother upgraded our room to the handicapped room, free of charge carried in all our luggage was very personable and friendly. Just a wonderful human being definitely an asset to this hotel.The hotel hotel was super clean and comfortable and the free breakfast was wonderful. Anytime I ever go back to Fort St John BC I will definitely stay there.My go to place now!!

The male (possible manager?) and female that checked me in were extremely kind. I had tried two hotels prior, and once they saw my dog made it impossible to afford ($500 deposit!?) Coast Fort was affordable, updated, and smelled like a home cooked meal! They even provided me doggy bags! The gentleman also helped me park my U-Haul and trailer.

Its not a bad hotel for what you pay. Its fairly dated and a bit run down but the staff is really nice and very helpful. It could use a little bit of a better cleaning but all In all its a decent place to stay for the price.

Absolutely disgusting. The place had a musky odor. The room wasn't vacuumed.there were dog hairs everywhere. There were dust bunnies and sand in the corner by the door. There were coffee rings on the table between the beds. We went out for the day shopping and asked if we could have our room cleaned. On return, we went over the room and discovered that they had moderately cleaned it. However we discovered a pair of metal handcuffs with bright pink fur on them. We were discussed again and vowed never to return again.

Great stop on our way north on the Alaska highway. Good breakfast and clean and comfortable room. Pet friendly. Would stay here again
