Everything perfect

We checked into our room and they don’t have an updated air conditioner and the room was very hot. We asked before going out for dinner and they said they would send maintenance. When we returned the room was arguably hotter than previous. We called and they switched rooms no problem and the second room was much cooler. It is incredibly dated furniture and the bathroom fixtures yellowed. The ceiling tiles were stained and drooping from previous water damage. The window sill was rusted and the dry wall crumbling. The beds were hard and squeaks anytime you move. Was going to stay 2 nights but will not be returning.

Nice place to stay

When I say don’t stay here I mean it. Never stayed in a hotel so gross before, our room was on the 3rd floor. And for one the place is so run down and needs some TLC. Our room smelt stale and smelled like cigarettes. It had some gross marks on the roof and walls. Hair was found on one of our pillows, popcorn and empty bottles were found under our bed. 1/10 stars… they only get a 1 cause the staff moved us to another room. It was a bit cleaner but still wasn’t worth $130 a night for a dump.

Great stay

Clean. Nice view. No AC or I couldn't get it to work. Nice big room. Busy place overall.

The bathroom fan in my room did not work. The plumbing is old. It took more than three minutes to get hot water from the taps. The mattress seemed to be quite new, though. Everything was clean but dated. There was an old, small fridge in the room, which actually took away from the experience. Perhaps if I had stayed more than one night, it would have been useful, but it spoke to a sense of being cheap. At that price point, you get what you pay for. The courtyard idea was nice, but the hotel needs a refresh. Maybe consider a recirculating hot water pump to cut down on wasted water and time.

Close to the Via rail station. Sketchy part of town. But nice hotel. Friendly staff.

Parking was ok, I noticed 1 guy with Chevy 1 ton crew cab taking up 4 spaces, just assu.ed he was from Grande prairie. We got 2 key cards 1 sorta worked for the room, the other worked for the elevator. There are no more vending machines, just ice. Breakfast in the restaurant was good,

It’s a large hotel, I liked many things. I liked that the lobby is large and spaced out with seating scattered throughout. The customer service desk staff were great too, super friendly and eager to help. The room we got was 2 queen beds, was also large, it was like it had its own entrance lobby just for your coats and shoes. Everything was super clean, sheets smelled nice and freshly washed, towels too, the bathroom was also squeaky clean. The toiletries provided were great quality too. We also had the club sand which in their little restaurant downstairs and it was pretty good as well. The only downside was that the rooms were a little dated, pieces of carpet were missing near the baseboards, elevators looked old but to me none of that really matters as long as it’s all clean and tidy which it was. Location wise, we took uber to and from the downtown Flix bus station and to and from Common Wealth stadium and all the trips worked out to either under $10 or under $20. There’s a Canadian tire and gas station across the street which came out handy for us when we wanted snacks and what not. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great value for their dollar.

This is an older property in an older area of Edmonton however the property is very well maintained and clean. Our room had new looking beds and was very big and clean. It was also really quiet at night which was great. We stayed there due to its close proximity to the Stadium so we could Uber over and back. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Would stay there again.

Our room was dated with ripped carpet and a very noisy a/c fan. We were in a dog friendly room which smelled like cigarette smoke and figured that's what we were getting for a room. The cable box crashed so we had no tv.

The smoking room they dont have refrigerator they should let know the guest. But everything is okay.

There was a lot of parking spaces. The staff were very friendly and quick at check in and check out. It was a good value for the room!!

It is not the place it was 10years ago or more, but for the price and service, I was quite satisfied.
