A good hotel but the rooms were too hot

We had a good time. Great for families. Little bit of walk to the rooms. Staff really nice. Kids club very good. I would stay there again and would recommend.

Large hotel spread out over large plot, clean rooms and public area.

Hotel was ok. Not the best; not the worst. Although it was extremely hot, the window in our room only opened about 3 inches (2.5cm) which did absolutely nothing to help with air flow. I asked reception about it and they said it was a safety restriction to open it further. Onsite bar was a little hectic. People would let their kids run around inside the bar which was a total distraction. The servers were also VERY slow. It took over 20 mins for our drinks to arrive and the bar area was less than 25% full.

Hotel reception and rooms were well maintained but outside of hotel, corridors and general layout really lets it down.

Interesting and in my view a useless rule in the pool area, you must use a swimming cap. The restaurant area (breakfast and dinner) is really loud and hectic. I do understand that there are lots of familiea with small kids so I would hope that the restaurant would either place the families in thw same area and making a more calm area in other location where the guests without kids could eat. The breakfast selection was rather limited.

Overall,very good,and especially for kids, the pool and sauna was very good,music in the bar was great,we had the family room which was great,it was 2 rooms and the kids loved it,definitely recommend it

The suite was generous for a family. I loved the blackout curtains for the summer sunrise that starts around 4am. The hotel is a little far afield for anyone who wants to walk to town. It’s big and without much charm, but it is a generous accommodation and good value.

too hot and noisy

Hotel Killarney is a great hotel. The staff are friendly enough, the hotel and rooms are spacious, the amenities are great and the hotel itself is sprawling with many corridors that makes it feel like the Shining (in a good way!). The staff were very accommodating and the check-in/out process was very simple and efficient! The room was clean, with enough trinkets to keep you satisfied with lots of space. It certainly does the trick!

Brilliant kids loved it

Very large hotel, some rooms were quite a hike from the reception. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was good. Parking was plentifully which made up for the slightly long distance from the center of town.

Great for families!
