Our recent stay was far from smooth. Upon check-in, the front desk staff told me my prepayment had not gone through, even though I had booked and paid for the room well over a month in advance and had my receipt in hand. After some back-and-forth, they finally acknowledged the payment and gave me a room key. Unfortunately, when we got to the room, it was immediately obvious that it had not been touched since the last guest checked out—dirty towels were scattered on the bathroom floor, the bedding was in disarray, trash was still in the bins, and the overall condition made it clear no cleaning had been done. I went back to the front desk to report the problem, but the staff member initially insisted the room had been cleaned. After he personally checked it, he apologized and gave us a key to a different room. The second room was clean, but it was extremely hot inside because the air conditioning hadn’t been turned on ahead of time—not even the fan was running—so it took a long time to cool down and get comfortable. On a positive note, the rest of the hotel’s common areas appeared clean and well-kept, but first impressions matter, and the check-in/payment confusion paired with the state of the first room left us frustrated. While we appreciated the eventual correction, the experience fell well short of expectations for a smooth and welcoming stay.

There were ants in all the rooms. Two other parties we travelled with also had ants in their rooms. The housekeeping was sub par. No sweeping was done. The fridge in the room froze our food the first day, while they did get us a new fridge they didn’t compensate or even really acknowledge that we were now out $30-40 of food wasted.

The floor was still dirty from the previous guest, had a bunch of sticky stuff spilt. The fridge was not cleaned out from the previous guest. Literally everything else was great. Could maybe use an upgrade on the bed but it wasn’t bad.

Night staff was amazing! Turned on the sauna for my son after the tournament so he could recover. I was made aware of a prior leak in the room and the room had a musty smell but we could manage with it. The issue was the morning when we woke up to a room infested with ants. They were in the beds, chargers, bags and shoes. I made the front desk aware. They offered nothing to make up for it and barely an apology, sadly. I hope they spray asap and can manage the smell damage from the prior leak.

The tables in the eating area were sticky. The sink in the room acted as though it had never been turned on, and sputtered all over me. The faucet was backwards. Hot turned to the right and cold was to the left. There were no tissues anywhere. It just wasnt the stay that i have previously had at a Days Inn. I have never been to this location before.
