We had booked a non smoking room, but the room smelt like smoke because it was positioned next to two smoking rooms with people smoking outside. Hotel staff downgraded us to a different room but were not able to give any lower pricing. Note that the hotel is more of a motel as well.

Lots of parking, may need some updating, but good location

Rented one of the upgraded rooms. Room was equipped nicely however there was an issue with the breaker and was unable to use the AC. Spoke with the front desk and the issue was not resolved. Expected the AC to work for the price of the room.

Very good experience. Place was roomy with kitchenette and dining table. Location is very convenient. Will stay again there for sure. Thank you!

Decent, cheap clean hotel

Place isn’t well maintained at all. Would only stay if I had to. Wouldn’t out of choice. Too much to explain. Pick else where if you can.

The staff were all kind and courteous. The building is older and has that reminiscent smell of cigarettes in the rooms. The lighting in the room was very dark. People in the parking lot raving engines and motorcycles late at night.

Great staff. I liked lots of small things like good towels, toilet paper, coffee and comfy beds. Big rooms for the price. It would be really good if you have to stay in a hotel for a long time.

Stony Plain Inn is a great place to stay. I come to Stony Plain often to visit my elderly mother and it has become my favourite place to stay. Check in and out went perfectly. The girl at the desk was so friendly and nice and helpful. They have great beds, good linens and the lobby coffee is quite good. A perfect place to stay that won’t cost a lot. Love it.

This is an older property but it’s clean and the staff were professional and courteous.

I would stay here again. Good value for the price.

Check in was quick and the receptionist was friendly and helpful We stayed in room 402 which was a double queen room with a full kitchen. The room was quite large which you don't find very often anymore. Overall the room was clean, yet outdated and could use a re-fresh. The TV needed a re-sync from the maintenance man, which arrived right after us placing the call and solved the problem. The shower lever was stuck and the two of us could not move it so again we called for help from the front desk, which arrived immediately and with assistance was able to turn the shower lever on. We stayed two nights and were told during check in that if we needed house keeping after our first night, to please let the front desk know. Housekeeping was requested and the beds were partially made. The stay did not include a breakfast but there is a restaurant on site for anyone that would like to purchase a meal there. The parking area was spacious but could use some re-paving due to potholes.

5 night stay. Clean, quiet room, with parking right at the door and a second door in the room that led to the pool and lobby. Microwave and mini fridge as well as a good sized tv. Only down side was only one cleaning during the stay and only because I asked. Overall good value for the price and I would stay again.

We messaged if we could check in early as I had to attend my sisters husbands funeral around 1. I arrived at the hotel earlier to inquire if we could check in earlier and was rudely informed by Megan. That everything was full. And when I asked to use the washroom to change and she saw me coming out wearing all black ( as I was attending a funeral), she then switched up on me and my husband and said that there was a room available. The interactions with her lacked customer service etiquette. It would be beneficial for this establishment to review the employees to make sure that customer service, tone & speaking to the customers with respect was evaluated regularly. I’ve been in 5 star hotels and motels, as we do business all over the world & this has got to be the first time where a front desk staff was so disrespectful, authoritative & lacked customer service skills. Really sad and disappointing experience

The staff were very friendly and helpful but the outside was not kept up. There was cigerrett buts laying all over the sidewalks and the lot needed a good sweeper on it.

Room was a little dated but very clean and the bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location for us. We were up for a quick impromptu trip to Edmonton. There was a deal on for our stay which won overall. The pool was ok we cleaned the windows in the pool so we could see the thunderstorm. Hot tub was closed for maintenance. Dry Sauna onsite was nice. I was under the impression there was a continental breakfast but no - there is a restaurant onsite with a discount coupon for breakfast or entree. McDonald’s is next door as well. We stayed two nights. Room was not cleaned in between so not sure if that is their policy but not a big deal just caught me off guard. Stay was good for the price. With the kids they liked it. Might stay again but we usually stay at the holiday inn when we have more notice for booking.
