Ants in room and woke up to cigarette smoke smell in our room

Our lake view was fantastic. Pet friendly was a very important consideration. Close to the Mackinaw Ferry with free shuttle to the ferry.

staff was great!

The facility is an older building but kept up well. The beds were very comfortable, and the balcony overlooking the lake gave a beautiful view. The carpet seemed like it needed a good cleaning, though. Otherwise, breakfast was good, the grounds were beautiful, and the staff were kind and helpful.

Property is old and the door lock was loose

Stopped in to stay the night before heading to Mackinac Island. Excellent room, comfy beds, and an even better view than expected. The restaurant right next door is a plus as well.

I could care less about eco friendly. I am mostly concerned with a quiet room and a comfortable bed. I was not disappointed in either case. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Make sure you book your room with court yard view. We messed up and didn’t book correctly

On the lake

We spent a night at this hotel to visit Mackinac island. Front desk was so nice to help us with tickets and shuttle to ferry. Hotel is very clean. View from balcony is very beautiful.

Awesome service, beautiful hotel, love the ease of shuttle to Mackinac Island and back. Pool and hot tub were nice, however i thought the pool was a bit chilly. Breakfast was great!

Water views

We enjoyed staying here & had a fun swim in the large pool & went in the hot tub.

Nice

The view of the bay and islands from our room was amazing. We arrived early and the staff got us into our room with no waiting. We were able to complete doing our laundry and still have time to enjoy the evening.

Clean and a great location

Carpeting could be replaced. Pillows are great! Like the convenience of soaps, etc., in dispensers. Really miss having exhaust fans in the hotel bathrooms. So quiet without them while in the bathroom, I could hear children taking their bath in the evening, in room next to us, at the HIE during our Munising, MI stay. The fan helps to both drown out undesirable noises, not to mention odors.
