Excellent location

Prior requests weren’t taken care of by staff. The key card didn’t work getting in hotel and room. Went twice to front desk for keys to be reactivated and swapped. 3rd floor leak had hallway under construction and made look dirty. Rooms were nothing special. Was nothing special and only stayed 1 night.

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel due to location. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The towels were even soft! The building is older but modern and the location is great for downtown activities. Walking distance to Palmer Event center South Congress (SoCo) shopping district as well as food. I will stay there again next year.

Dirty and smelled like mold. Mold present in the bathroom.

This has been our go-to hotel in Austin for literally decades. It’s a 10 minute walk to the heart of South Congress St, the Bat Bridge, and Town Lake, and offers all the amenities you would want for an extended stay. The staff will go way above and beyond to help out, including receiving packages, providing kitchen items, and arranging very late check out times. This Extended Stay may be the last affordable hotel in one of the most expensive cities in the entire US and we highly recommend it! Eat at Sandy’s across the street!!

Price for overnight stay too high and on the go breakfast.

Old hotel, but good enough for what I paid. Just needed a place to sleep. The bed was comfortable. Great location.

Carpet’s and floor were dirty and sticky. You could not walk bear foot in the room No replacement room was offered

Refrigerator was noisy. AC was noisy. There were little roaches in the room.

sprinkler system malfuntioned the day before/day of check in. No notification from either party, huge running fans going in the hallways, right in front of our door for the first night. that being said, the staff was bery nice/accommodating the morning after when we requested a room further away from the fans

Associate at front desk was rude, the room had a Dirty tub and toilet. Front office had no restroom to use while waiting in line, we had to wait until we got our Room

Well you get what you pay for...for downtown Austin. Dirty counters. Sticky carpet. Cold water. Dirty syringe under the fridge. Excellent location. Clean bed.

Great time

There were a few things odd about the room: 1 - it had a particular smell that just didn't go away. 2 - the entry door looked like someone tried to kick it open at some point and it was never repaired. 3 - asked room service to send some toiletries, they didn't. Had to go pick it up at the front desk the next day.

It seems like the property is understaffed. We had to wait a half hour at check-in time for someone to show up at the front desk to check us in. The employee was very courteous though. When we unlocked the room, it had not been cleaned yet, which was disappointing. The property is worn and could use some updates. The bathroom sink didn't drain. Later when my friend tried to check in with a reservation, they were told they were full. Not the greatest experience.

Great Customer Service

Terrible hotel. Good enough for the price but then again you get what you pay for. I checked out after my first night and didn’t look back. Prepackaged sweets does not constitute breakfast…

Very dated. The bed was so awful. I was going to stay two nights, after the first night, I left and went somewhere else.
