The service that we received during our stay was great. The employees were very attentive. We especially enjoyed our late afternoon coffee in the Club Lounge with Fruzsina. She was very kind, sweet and amazingly helpful. She will be the core memory we look back on when we think about our stay at this hotel.

Absolutely love staying here. I've tried several places in Budapest, but this is really where I enjoy staying the most. The location is excellent. The rooms are comfortable. Beds are heavenly. Everything is very clean.

The hotel facility is very high end but beyond that I liked the efficiency of it all (room, breakfast buffet, ...). Everything is very well thought. The Staff was excellent, friendly, competent and very helpful in any situation. Loved it!

I absolutely adore this hotel! From start to finish, my stay was a fantastic experience, and I can confidently say that their breakfast was the best I had during my entire trip. The restaurant staff were truly top-notch—so warm and attentive. On my last day, the breakfast restaurant manager(give her a raise!) noticed how much I loved the traditional Hungarian bread, Pogácsa, and went out of her way to gift me the recipe and even pack a bag for me to take along. That thoughtful gesture completely made my day! Every morning, I couldn’t wait to start my day with their amazing breakfast. And let me tell you about their cappuccino—unlike the usual, uninspired machine-made ones, this was beautifully prepared, rich, and absolutely delicious. I loved it so much I had two cups every morning! The hotel’s location was also great. While it was a bit far from the main train station, I was still able to visit all the major attractions on foot in just one day, which made it super convenient. Their dinner restaurant was pretty good too. Now, for a couple of minor things they could improve: The bathroom layout was a bit odd, even for a solo traveler like me. The shower stall was very small (and I’m quite petite!), and there wasn’t enough space for my skincare and makeup products. Also, whenever I washed my face, water splashed everywhere. Additionally, my room faced the street, and it was a bit too loud for me to fall asleep. Still, highly recommend.

This is not up to the standards of a Ritz Carlton hotel at all. From the moment we walked in our room was not ready. It took over 1.5 hours to get our luggage brought to the room. After waiting long for our luggage I asked for another luggage rack for the room and it never came. There were no pleasantries from the staff. We came from Ritz Carlton Berlin which was the polar opposite. We were offered drinks and Christmas treats. There was nothing in Budapest. The breakfast was mediocre at best. No one smiled. While I had a very nice massage from Vera in the spa the spa was tiny and offered very little. Children were also allowed in and it was noisy. Not what you want to hear while you are trying to relax One of the biggest issues for me was the noise. We were backing on to the fashion street it was where the garbage is picked up. Loud at 6am every morning. We paid for a 5 star hotel and this was a 3.5 at best. We were really disappointed.

Staff at reception is below average to terrible, except for the manager Zsuzanna H - she’s excellent and very helpful. I think they are pretty understaffed. Way below expectations for a Ritz!!!

Location is great, however, you would be severely discriminated if you booked through a third party. I decided to book a long stay through Hotels.com, as the promo code was not working, i booked 3 nights instead of 4. Upon arrival, i requested they honor the long stay. To my surprise, this turned into a 3 day back and forth. Expedia called and emailed to try to resolve the issue, they refused to answer them. Furthermore, at check-in a lady next to me was kindly asked to register as a bonvoy member in order to be provided free breakfast. Upon hearing that, i requested to provide my number as well. I was shocked when i was told that they weren't going to give me free breakfast and i could only qualify for 20% off. So all guests are not treaded the same. Some are politely encouraged to get free items, others are denied services or promotions cause they're a third class guest. They also refused to give me any rebate for my 4th night and requested i pay the full price! I went to Kempiski hotel, was extremely surprised they recognized and honored my Expedia membership. They went as far as upgrading me to a new room. There's therefore no reason why the Ritz decided to discriminate me, if Kempiski can upgrade me. I doubt it has anything to do with booking through a 3rd party like they claimed. It was definitely racial and i will never be going back.

I had a wonderful two day stay in the hotel. The location is perfect and service was impeccable. The hotel is true to its brand. They reached out to me ahead of time to arrange transportation, and again upon departure, which was very appreciated as it was my first visit to Budapest and I was unfamiliar with transportation options. I highly recommend and would love to visit again.

There were problems with our prearranged tour. We had to wait to find another tour guide. I felt we were an after thought about it. The tour guide seems like he had just rolled out of bed. Concierge made us reservations at a local restaurant. They tried to seat us in the worst table in the restaurant in the middle of the crowd waiting by the front door. I refused to sit there. I would think if you were sent as a guest of the hotel you should have been given a better table and not be put in this situation.
