Clean room with very comfortable beds!

lovely super-king bed... but room was overpowerfully warm & stuffy... shower was not great... low pressure.... food was good... BUT, very slow at being delivered . Polite and professional staff .

Great parking, nice building and clean rooms. We had a great stay here and slept well!

Hotel staff were so helpful when I made a double payment or my room (my error). The restaurant staff also made our stay a wonderful experience.

Just a brief stay in this boutique hotel. Very nice property but rooms do not have A/C and of course it was in the 80’s all week. Nice bar in the hotel.

Overall, a nice venue with many positives. Great Library Bar and service. Room was completely furnished, but furniture was a bit outdated. Very clean and well cared fire. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Property was very large and a great venue for large celebrations/weddings/conferences. During our stay, the place was like a ghost town. One negative was the price of breakfast which was €18 pp. We thought that was far too high. When I went for a scone, I was told that I couldn’t simply buy a scone until the library bar opened at noon. By then, we had checked out and on our way.

Property was well cared for, bedroom was noisy with traffic travelling nearby, breakfast was very poor, served up luke warm as a buffet not good. The reception area was excellent with lots of comfortable seating. Evening meal in the restaurant was very good. Drinks in the bar very expensive 2 gin & tonic £21.

As a retired couple we decided to leave the car and travel by train. Big mistake. No bus service and 2 hour wait for taxi from train. Should be a shuttle service on .

Good property

Lovely staff check in, and helpful bar staff. It really is the people that make a place good. Clean, comfortable, and thankfully not over heated like a lot of places.

Check in was difficult i was told that i hadnt paid for the room as they only take payment on arrival. This took a long time to resolve as i had already paid through hotels.com. Room was basic but comfortable except for the bathroom. The tolet was to close to the shower so you had to sit sideways. I would not recommend for taller or disabled people. Food was nice. Guinness was bad.

Really nice, relaxing place to stay with food available in their restaurant.

Some retraining needed of bar staff. Excellent hotel.
