The room was somewhat clean but it really needs a modernisation. As soon as you entered the room, you’d get this old carpet smell that was unbearable. The bathroom was old and bath had many signs of black mould on the silicone and grouts. The sink tap leaked water. Breakfast was mediocre. We asked for a 4£ “specialty” flat white which we could tell right away was straight from a cheap coffee machine. Amenities were ok, the pool area is very tired as well. Receptionist couldn’t be bothered to give us any info when we enquired about EV charging. Overall not a great experience for the price

Fabulous stay .. lovely big bed and room. Spa facilities looked great but unfortunately we did not have time to use them. We had a delicious dinner and would have liked to have stayed longer. Peaceful calm surroundings even with the golfers playing.

I booked 3 rooms at the hotel, we had a room in the main part of the hotel, this was a very large room with a copper bath in the bedroom, this was very nice, the weather was very hot over the stay and the room had air conditioning and kept the room nice and cool, we also had a luxury double room with garden access, this was very nice with a canopy over the patio area that gave a bit of shade over looking the golf course, the 3rd room was a luxury double on the 2nd floor, there was no air conditioning and the window only opened slightly, the room was adequate for the 4 nights, however there is no fridge in any of the luxury rooms, what is a shame, we looked at the day time menu that is limited, we were told that there was food at the golf house (19th hole), we found something to have here, this was very limited, however we did turn up just before the club house was closing. The spa is nice, small and times are limited and not advertised very well, we went on Saturday evening for a late swim, but went Sunday evening at the same time to find the spa closed. Over all a very nice place to stay and would stay again.

Our expectations weren’t high because this hotel was so reasonably priced, but The Tewkesbury Lodge was a pleasant surprise—the most beautiful place, with spacious rooms, helpful, friendly staff and delicious food, both at breakfast and at night. We constantly marveled at the views and the beautiful gardens, as well as the perfectly maintained golf course. Only downside was no elevators and no air conditioning, so just fix that by asking for a ground floor room and a fan. Definitely will return. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

What a great resort. Lovely clean environment with great views and friendly people who work there. We stayed in an opulant suite King Richard lll room on the top floor and it was such a lovely big room with all amenities you need. Big bath, his and hers vanity....double wetroom and all the tech I would need with usb ports in sockets. Bramley wash products and great big comfy bed with lovely comfy pillows. The views were amazing and setting. The breakfast is big and hearty and great selection from cooked to cereals and pastries and all you would need to start the day. The pool facilities are clean and well presented and the steam room is a nice temp then you can jump in a lovely jacuzzi. We ate in the restaurant one eve and and we had duck and goat curry which was ok. Thank you for a great stay. Xx

Everything about this hotel was fantastic. From helpful check in staff to brilliant waiting staff in the restaurant and the bar our stay was made very special. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice property. Staff were courteous and friendly. Menu was well rounded. Good well prepared. We were very pleased with our stay.

Very clean and recently decorated hotel. Comfy bed and very smart (although small) bathroom. Food was excellent in restaurant in evening and at breakfast. Nice grounds and good looking golf course. I'd choose to stay again when in area.

My 96 year old mum uses a rollator and for long distances a wheelchair. There are a number of stairs to access the reception and restaurant and staff made sure there was a ramp and gave us stair free access to the restaurant via another function room. Reception also helped me to use the EV charges as you need to download an app to use them. The evening meal was superb and the after eight cocktail delicious. Hotel is in a beautiful location surrounded by an excellent golf course with a stunning view of Tewkesbury Abbey. Full marks to the staff and the chef. Will certainly stay again.

We booked a room with a patio, knowing the weather was going to be good, so it was lovely to be able to sit outside and look at the beautiful scenery. It was midweek during the Easter school break but the spa facilities were quiet which was nice and we swam and sunbathed 2 days in a row. Restaurant was good including breakfast and dinner. Staff all lovely.

We have a lovely couple of nights at Tewkesbury park for our minimoon. The grounds are lovely and well looked after. Our check in was straight forward and easy. Staff were great and attentive across the hotel. Spa facilities were lovely. Our room was a really good size and clean. The only slight downside was that we didnt appear to have air con available - this was not an issue as we opened the window, however, in the hotter months its worth noting!

Mid week overnight stay. We had the golf view. Used the pool, outdoor hot tub and sauna. Had evening meal which was lovely and reasonable price. Buffet style breakfast. Staff friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Clean room with adequate space and lovely view over golf course. Staff were extremely polite and friendly and very well presented. Ate in restuarant in evening and the food was outstanding as was the service. Breakfast was very good too but i think you should be able to have one speciality coffee included and only pay for additional ones. Charged our electric car at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend.
