We will definitely stay here again when we visit Paris. It is in a nice neighborhood with loads of dining options and close to the train stations. The hotel itself was the nicest we have stayed in Paris. It is a 25 room Boutique hotel completely renovated with good sized rooms and windows which open. Delicious breakfast, elevator, and a welcoming entry room. The staff are the best! Everyone was so helpful and kind giving us ideas of places to go. They also clean the room every day which is such a nice touch. We will be back. Thank you, Elise & James

Great location Lots of shops and restaurants nearby Subway a block away great staff especially Mohammed who was very helpful very easy to get around via subway

The location of hotel is located very near Oberkampf metro station which is really truly convenient. It is a hidden gem area with loads of dining options especially famous boulangerie Utopie nearby. Personally the location is very centralized which enables you to move around in central Paris with a breeze. The room we stayed in is cozy and comfortable with a comfortable size for 2. Housekeeping was done for us daily. The hotel staffs are very friendly and speaks English perfectly well. Every Tuesday and Thursdays you’ll wake up to a beautiful morning market with local food and fresh produces.

Convenient quiet location. Small-ish room (typical for Paris) but with everything you need. Enjoyed the neighborhood. Lots of good coffee shops, pastry shops, and walkable shopping. There is a farmers market across the street from the main entrance during the week. Just note that there is a soup kitchen across the street from the rear of the property so you will see people lining up in the morning. This did not bother us. Friendly staff.

Wonderful stay at Hotel Saint Martin Bastille. The hotel is charming and incredibly well located with a plethora of restaurants, cafes and shops on the doorstep. The rooms were very comfortable, good size with decent storage. The bed mattress was wonderful and the bed linen was very high quality. The staff on reception were very friendly and available 24/7. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay around Oberkampf or close to the Marais when visting Paris.

The hotel it’s in a good location, close to restaurants, bakeries, stores. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was also good.

Staff are friendly and kind. Lobby is nice. Breakfast is served in a quiet room. Decent enough food and coffee. Great location close to Metro. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Room was ok. Not a great hotel for a stay of more than 2 days. We were there for 6 nights. Beds are very hard. Pillows are lumpy. Bathrooms have no fans so get very humid and smelly. Bring toilet paper. What they have in the bathrooms is very rough and no bidet. Room was so very hot at night but the only option was to open the window all the way. You can't just open a touch to let air in. Very quiet at night. Decor was just meh. Not like photos which look much nicer. Rooms feel old but are very clean. The staff do a wonderful job of making up the room each day. If your claustrophobic make sure to get a room a lower floor so you can take the stairs. We were on 5 and the elevator is VERY tiny. Overall ok spot but won't stay here again more than 2 nights.

Amazing gem that is cozy and centrally located within close proximity to the Metro. Friendly staff......an all-round winner!!

Hotel St Martin Bastille exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful, with an unusual lobby, lots of books, comfortable seating. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and decorated in a lovely, minimalist style. The neighborhood is convenient, cafes and restaurants and metro are nearby, and the hotel is easily walkable to the Marais and some other tourist sights. The biweekly market across from the hotel was outstanding -- but having rooms looking out onto the market means that you might find your sleep disturbed in the wee hours of the morning as they set the market up. We will be recommending this hotel to our friends and family.

Wonderful hotel, friendly staff, very clean. Plenty of great bars and restaurants nearby. Close to two metro stations. We like to walk and that took about half an hour from the hotel to reach the centre. Will definitely be back!

Great place

Outstanding service and welcome from staff! Loved everything about it. Breakfast was wonderful. Location is perfect: plenty of dining and transportation options nearby. Our room was small, like many in Paris, but even for two of us (a mom and a 20yo son), it worked out perfectly. If you have enormous luggage, choose a larger room, but the smallest selection worked just fine for us. We each had a rollaboard-size suitcase (expanded out) and a backpack. I will stay again without the slightest hesitation. Sami and Muhammad at the from desk made sure we had everything we needed. So pleased!

The front staff was great, and helped me practice my French. Super cute room, we loved it.

The staff were lovely and I saw one of the gentleman staff helping people outside, across the road, with their luggage. They were helpful.
