Very dirty they should just shut their doors and do a complete gut of it. The place stunk it was putrid could barely breathe and garbage absolutely everywhere..

The most horrendous hotel I’ve ever seen or stayed at. Dirty as can be, bugs everywhere, bedding hasn’t been washed in I don’t know how long. Bed was covered in other people’s hair, staines on the bedding. Roofing materials just laying around outside the building. Looks like a roof collapse at the front counter. So disgusting all around. Never again. It was like a homeless shelter.

Nothing whatsoever is to like about this property. It is the most disgusting and dirty place I have ever seen. It’s out of a movie. You’d think it was a homeless shelter. Bugs everywhere, bedding that hasn’t been washed in who knows how long, maintenance that has been kept properly, extremely dirty, absolutely stinks like cigarettes in a non-smoking room, stained bedding, hair all over the bedding. The pictures on Expedia have to be Ai because it does not represent what the place is actually like in anyway. The roof is falling apart. DO NOT BOOK HERE. EVER.

The price and room quality do not match.

Front desk staff was polite and helpful. The room were clean and basic. Coffee and breakfast on the go would have me stay again. Ok for a quick sleep before driving on

Disgusting! Extension cords hanging in the stairwell. Guests smoking in their rooms. Buckets on the front desk to collect water that was dripping from the ceiling. Do not stay here! We paid over $200 for a room as we were passing through. Key was left on the front desk as there is no staff after 11 pm. Very creepy as you don’t know who had access to your room prior to your arrival. Next time I will sleep in my vehicle! Absolutely do not recommend.

Not much to say. Very average, if that, but clean. They claimed to be renovating, which might explain the musty smells and exposed wires in the staircase and hallways. Would not recommend this for mobility-challenged travelers. Or at least try to get a room on the first floor. Staircases were very steep and narrow and carpeting frayed. The rooms were clean and amenities adequate ,but seemed very stuffy although it was cool outside, even when we turned on the fan. OK for a night if you need a sleep en route to Jasper. Be aware there are very few eating options in town, and they get very crowded very fast.

I can't believe the reviews saying the place was good! It's run down, no restaurant, no amenities. Beds must have had foams on top of the mattresses. Welcome mat at the room entrance was disintegrated and carried into the room each time we entered. The surrounding area looks like a homeless camp.

Not sure the description of the place best describes what it is. Yes having renovations but there is rubbish right outside our room. Asked for a pillow got told already have one in bedroom. Asked for a jug got told there is a coffee pot in bedroom or heat water in microwave. Who heats water in microwave. Very dated.

There seems to be a renovation going on with the restaurant, so there is no restaurant. Hotel room was clean. The property is looking like it needs some help.

Our room was the saving grace of the night. Our bed was comfortable and we had good sleeps.The buildng was a safety hazard and I wonder if it shouldnt be condemed.

The pictures on Expedia are from 20 years ago and do not reflect the current state of the hotel. Room was dirty. Clothes from previous person was in the room. Bathroom was dirty. Glass cups were extremely disgusting. Attached restaurant had roof caved in. Renovation signs everywhere yet nothing is being worked on. Cement in pieces. No phones in rooms to connect to front desk. This is a safety issue. The state of the hotel was shocking. When I mentioned it to staff, they said I should have mentioned it. I replied that they should have prepared the room properly before I arrived. TV didn’t work either. Sandman hotel chain would be ashamed of their name being attached to this property. I will never stay here again and I will tell everyone I know not to stay either.

This property is under renovations and it was noisy until 9:30 pm. The room was ok, it had a small fridge and microwave. The outside of the building was not in optimal condition.

Room was relatively clean.

I booked online a few hours before and the room was confirmed, then when I got there, they did not have any rooms. I am still waiting on my refund.
